There is a couple of pictures of, what I call, an old school Russell in the Broadhurst book. A mate of mine owned it and another mate had its belly brother. In their day they were probably the best digging dogs in this city and boy did they dig! Both owners were none stop at that time. Strangely, both dogs were jaffa's too....

Is there still lines of just greyhound bull about like that or are they mixed in with everything else now Yeah there still going about.But pie it's self is diluted out them. I've never used a shock collar, sometimes think if a dog is so bad to merit one then maybe that dog should be PTS? First off Obi, re-think your exercise plan and get the fecker out as much as. Also, you could re-do your kennels so it can't see the other dogs and deffo you, maybe that might help. Use temporary boards to prevent them seeing each other and you. Try soft music, classical FM, with a bit of talk too, works well. If you want to be more direct and use water, then do it when the dog can't see you. Wi11ow, we did the same. Old freight diesel lines wernt used on B. holidays & Sundays, work the brambles and put 'em down them broken drains along the track. Run like feck up the line to see where it was gonna stop and if solid, get a dog in. If ya touched lucky there may be one in already.... One time we put one in and had four out!

Clarissa's funeral service will be held in Edinburgh on 7th April at 2pm. In St Mary's Metropolitan Cathedral. The Countryside Alliance said they will be out in force that day to say 'thank you' to a wonderful, witty and strident campaigner....(I'm not in any way a fan of the CA but that would make a fitting tribute and what the old girl rightly deserves). It will be followed by a private cremation.

Unfortunately Sawyer being the owner of a working lurcher demands that you make decisions, whether you like it or not! The most common one you'll find over your dogs life is, should I slip or not... Though there are plenty more.... On these litters, go with your gut, (you have already deep down!). Then when you do, walk in the yard and if the litter is all even, pick up the first pup that catches your eye, right away. Don't piss about or change your mind..!! When you have it get it home, put all you can into it over the next 12 months and don't even think about the other pups, other litte
