That ending was better than I thought... Fair play to Beckham, I never have a bad word to say about that bloke, he is IMO a great ambassador for... Well, most stuff he's involved with these days. As for the script and dialogue... As cheesy as ever, they may be older actors now but their characters 'so called' environment calls for a much more up-to-date writer these days....

Some great posts on this thred. Borderscot, that was an honest account. Lloydy, wise words too... I've owned two Hancock dogs and both were pretty good, in the field BUT I have to say the kennel was a different matter... Thing is, I never raised these dogs, they were give-a-ways. Given for behavioral problems at home.... Though neither was nasty, in any way, just 'quirky', one was very neurotic.... What i will say, is that if you REALLY know your pastoral blood, then there may be a puppy for you from those kennels, you know whats in it and you should know what, if you put that effort in, -

I like eatin hare but it is a gamey, strong taste and it needs a bit of thought with what to put with it to get it right. Simple rule of thumb is that if ya don't want to get all arty farty, think of it as beef. Traditional jugged hare and all that would be very nice but... Well, who's got a stoneware jug just for that eh.. I ain't! So, I usually curry it and, like rabbit, I do get a bit choosey about what parts I eat these days, with hare, just the saddle and the back leg meat. Pick the best, dogs and ferrets get the rest and have a fecking good go.... Enjoy!

Got in from work at 11, so didn't watch it but reading this I'm gobsmacked that any of you thought it'd be any different.... What did you expect???? As far as I can see, a bit of exposure to the cretins that own 'status' dogs, takes a bit of pressure off us... Yep, let the world see who is responsible for not being responsible! Clamp down, take the dogs off 'em, put the critters down and fine the retards to feck because its those that are doing all the damage...

Interesting topic, good reading and good honest posts on the subject. Whilst I have seen and dug to some good Smithy offspring, most of those were off bitches of 'similar' lineage and though IMO, looking back, putting Smithy to open stud probably helped some folk with a great starting baseline or improved stock, it really was all about the coin... GTE, someone on here sent me a link to someone who customises Opinel's. For the life of me I can't think where it was now BUT for buttons they made sommat fantastic and well worth owning, out of something very ordinary. I thought they were spot on! Maybe someone can find the site and put up the link. Good talking earlier, cheers for the brew.

Though SS is right with differing coal, though in this case i'd betcha GTE's on the money with logs. I burn both on my open fire too but I make sure the wood I use is 'natural' and well seasoned.
