Except the numbers and the perception. More have come in by boat than by lorry etc, and they are visible. Which freaks people out.
-
I just checked the figures Mack. Syrians made up 12% of boat people last year.
-
I'm I total agreement with that mate.

Personally I don't care what he believed when he was a boy . Its completely irrelevant..Its what he believes in now. He gives little away. But what we do know is that he supports fox hunting but not the right to hunt with lurchers. He supports zero hour contracts. Great for employers not for workers. He opposes first day sick pay. Great for employers not for workers. The fact is that our Covid death toll has been linked to workers being unable to afford to take time off , which in turn infected and killed people. He opposes repeal of the no fault eviction law. He's a

Very few. The same as now. But what freaks people is our island invaded by undocumented migrants in their thousands. Its the image rather than the actuality. It also brings home to people what an easy touch we are. I

Surely it was his duty to explain to the British people that withdrawing from Dublin 111 would create a channel free for all?
-
The boat people make up only about 3% of immigrants annually. It's always been an irrelevance. And most are given leave to stay anyway. But it's the great symbol of invaded, pissed of Britain. And it keeps The Daily Mail, permanently offended brigade happy . When you go into any negotiation you must do your research and tie up loose ends. For example, before you tender for a job, the client will present you with a ten page list of clauses full of eventualities which your workmen are responsible for. I used to present them with a similar list checked by legal people to cover myself. I

Pre brexit there was a European directive, namely the Dublin 111 agreement. This stipulated that migrants could be sent back to the European country from which they had travelled. After brexit, that agreement came to an abrupt end. So migrants, understandably, piled into dinghies knowing they could not legally be sent back.

Yes I agree. Politics is most often about blatant hypocrisy. And having the gall to justify absolute lies. Do you remember Thatcher first utterance? " Where there is discord, may we bring harmony...... Where there is despair may we bring hope" She then went on to declare war on ordinary people and completely demoralise the UK. A demolarisation we are still suffering from today. Same with Farage. He CREATED what Labour are now belatedly calling the 'Farage boats', whilst calling for cuts to immigration. Not forgetting Johnstone who created the 'Boris Wave' an ENORMOUS

I think that's right, people are increasingly looking to vote for anything other than the main stream parties. Youngsters are looking at the Greens. But to me that's a wasted vote too. The new Green leader, Zak Polanski used to be a hypnotherapist. He had a sideline. He used to convince women they could make their tits bigger by the power of positive thinking. f****n charlatan, he will fit right in with the rest.

I think the vast majority of the voting age people in England feel lost..disenfranchised . None of the parties have any design to improve our lot. Tories are almost extinct. Labour have shown themselves to be a bunch of incompetent fuckwits with no mission or direction. Liberals continue to be irrelevant. And Reform are the tories under a new name. Despite the media coverage they get, they only have 5 MPs. So who to vote for next time round? Under a democracy we are supposed to have a choice. We do . Somewhere between a rock and a hard place.

Geez, what an image. You've thought about this haven't you?
-
No, but if you wipe your arse with them they put the pain from haemorrhoids into perspective.

No change there then. Twas ever thus.

" weren't very gentle". Their pay and hours were crap but their bonus and real vocation was knocking f**k out us. Knowing that if we responded in kind we got 6 months. They were the biggest, most violent untouchable gang of the lot.

You used to get a lot of students around Manc. They were away from mummy and daddy for the first time, get pissed , loud and aggressive. Christmas.

West Ham were always easy beats. On the field and intercepting them when they were running for their buses. No contest mate. And don't go running to gnasher for support from the man in the white hat. Stretford enders were the hardest fuckers on the planet and don't you forget it.

Thats a bit caustic Stiff. Fighting was a right of passage back in the day. Singly, or fighting and bonding with mates, it was a fantastic adrenalin rush. I really enjoyed it .Lots of male physical sport involves, risk and physicality. Bragging and exaggerating afterwards, telling each other how daring and hard we were. That was your teenage years. Kids have got more things to do these days. I know it was sad but there wasn't much else to do. Drink, dance, fight. That was your Saturday night. Burger King and McDonald's weren' t invented then. We were all willing

I wonder how Tourettes sufferers get on in pubs? Don't think it would be good for their health, especially not their teeth. There's a brain damaged bloke in my town, not a Tourette's sufferer, who will join a chat and say the wrong thing. He's often got a black eye poor f****r. Sometimes he's hammered by strangers who don't know him, but often by low life who know his problem but want to show how hard they are by punching a brain damaged man They know he won't and can't fight back. He's got a thing about my Mrs . He sometimes comes to mine first footing at New Year. One time

Imo personal protection dogs dutifully guarding your loved ones is a myth. People make out dogs to have heroic qualities, they are supposed to have judgement in times of danger and put their lives on the line to protect vulnerable family members. In truth that are scavengers who work best in packs. They may have been bred into different shapes but they are still fundamentally the same creatures. As others have said, even the biggest dog is easily disarmed by a determined intruder. Plus, they vomit, piss and shit, cast, hump and terrify visitors. So forget about neighbouring

They'd have been great to have a ruck with back in the day. Just my type.

Oh well done! I suppose you imagine you scored one over the exclusive shoe shop!! Well what about the unsuspecting high end tart who bought those faux leopard skin stilettos after you'd infected them with millions of mackem verruca spores? Poor sad bitch. She will no longer be able to walk the streets of Mayfair. Instead she will be unable to work, have to claim disability and smoke crack all day. What an existence, and all your fault. I thought you were better than that. Twat!

You were right the first time.lol
