Economists the world over are talking about the K shaped world economy. I don't pretend to understand the ins and outs of economic theory. But I do understand the central message. It is that the rich are getting seriously richer and the poor significantly poorer. We've seen this happen in our lifetimes. Only the left have ever concerned themselves with more equal societies. Thetefore I'm for a more equal share of the world's goodies. Health systems, affordable housing, a non repressive society where it pays to work. That's left wing ideology.

Wow. There was a pure white buck in this area. Some clown put a photo on mainstream media and the area became like a driveway for trophy hunters from far and wide. I wonder if there's that many of them that they have learned to share territory? In my patch, SW Scotland, its no exaggeration to state there's as many Roe as rabbits. Myxie and the virus RDH2? have decimated rabbits whilst Roe numbers continue to increase. Land is so flat here that a safe shot when stalking is often difficult and they have no natural predators once they are adult . I love to see them. By far my favourite deer species.

Lol In the fifties teachers used to bang your head against your desk in order to underline a particular piece of wisdom they wished to impart. 'When a noun ends in a 'y.' I have just penned a letter to the MOD asking for the call up age to be in raised to 76. That way I can go. I can aim a rifle, jog a mile or so and have experience skippering sea faring craft. I did make a suggestion though.... that each recruit of a certain age be issued with a piss bottle because we more mature fellows tend to suffer rather a lot from Private Godfrey's affliction.
