It was a good night bud. Keith did have to be pulled away from those doggers we came across. But after that he was sound. Fitter than that saluki I'm still looking for.

I was with him. Here's your proof.

Thankfully I am fluent in Jockspeak. And I understand you are making a particularly penetrative observation. Namely , that terriers will give tongue if allowed to chase. I have considered your contribution to the thread in enormous detail and would offer the following. Being an empathetic sort, I will deliver it your own language. Aye, you f****n divvy. That's how we divnae f****n use them as lurchers ffs. Their legs are too f****n wee, ya bawbag. They get frustratet and stairt their greeting noise cuz they cannae catch up. You'd be shiting small if ye relied on a terrier tae fill y

Lots of these songs were recorded by Lomax https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLSkeSWIxVtKRzNent2rnIrW0VNngfjTT-&si=raV95nTL__4qwBND

It's all theoretical. I know. I don't trust any government to spend money sensibly.

I'm all for utilitarianism: the greatest happiness for the greatest number. If you miss out on that principle ..tough. It's estimated that in Scotland you could take 300000 children out of poverty by imposing a 2% tax on taxpayers earning over 10 million per annum. It's a no brainer but poor people will say that's not fair! f**k off, whether it's fair .

I actually agree with you now. I'm having a breakdown. My head is scrambled. Damn you, you intrepid debater.

And another thing. Cousins should not be allowed to have children. Shag if they want to I guess. But not children. There are too many handicapped children being born to such marriages. It's too much of a risk imo.

They should be forced to enter the 21st century. The bill contains provisions for more punishment for coercively arranged marriages and 'honour' killings too. Sieg hiel

Reported for gross insensitivity to a pensioner. Just let me ramble on and don't upset me by disagreeing .

I used to get a lot of stick for refusing to stand for the anthem. I wasn't making a victim , look at me, rebel stance. I just didn't support the royal family. My choice. Leave me alone. Thankfully the anthem has virtually died out now.

Now it's me clutching my pearls and having to take a moment. Reported for gross insensitivity. You disagreed.

We feel your pain brother. Take a moment.

It's not treacherous to admit lots of countries do it better than us. I love reading about the way different countries organise their societies. As you know, I'm a great admirer of the Nordic countries. People scoff at The Global Happiness Index which consistently feature the Nordic countries, especially Finland. But , for me, sod everything else, governments should be driving at all times to make its citizens lives better.

I'm afraid so. A good example was Badenoch's promise to abolish stamp duty. Well big f****n deal. That will make a tremendous difference to everybody's lives. Parties never think outside the box. It's always little baubles for the natives. But parties are now controlled by big business so they are in a straitjacket too.

Do you remember the the poster YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU and Kennedy's " ask not what your country can do for you, ask what I can do for my country "? Well the white working class have done all that. Fought the wars and worked till they dropped. But where's the rewards? I won't bore you with the stats and my famous fact checking, but the British white working class are lagging behind every single indicator of a decent life. And, incredibly, inequality is increasing year on year. And please don't blame the victims.

Afterthought. The most enthusiastic flag fliers are the poor, white, working class. Stats show that they are the very people that the country has absolutely pulverised . They are last in housing provision, education, health and well paid secure employment. What a tragic irony that they are the ones flying the flag.

You could have given me some warning about that heterosexual middle class couple. I am now completely traumatised. I've thrown up my f****n breakfast and am gulping valium as I write. f**k you, you uncaring nationalist nazi. My sister used to have a business providing training for companies. She did life coaching as well. She made an absolute fortune out of it and was always amazed at how gullible companies and individuals were. She used to confess her own life was absolute chaos, but that people readily swallowed her life coaching guff. She just regurgitated mantras from l

I'm not bothered what Neville does. Flag huggers are as phoney as flag rippers imo. To hell with both types . If either side want to have a tug of war over a flag, fine. I've got better things to do. We all understand flying the union jack means different things. For some its a protest about immigration. For others it's love and pride for one's country and its former miitary exploits. It's Spitfires, Vera Lynn and the white cliffs of Dover. In Scotland, for some, it's a celebration of the union. For others it's an ' in yer face' provocation as many do not accept the unio

The track has been a great favourite of mine. Definitely in my top 5. Im a big fan of American blues in general. Lots of the Stones' tracks and Clapton's too were basically tribute tracks to the old blues stars' work. Lomax did us all a favour preserving black music. I like the prison songs and field songs he recorded. The track Black Betty which had a lot of commercial success originated as a prison song from way back. My Mrs hates the blues. So I have to play it with headphones. She says the sound and lyrics are depressing, but it's just life. No taste poor woman.

I'm the same. At 75 ,I weigh 6 pounds more than I did at 21. On two days a week I eat small snacks only. And on the other days I eat medium size portions. Your body doesn't need much as much you age. I exercise most days... I walk, I lift small weights until I'm knackered, I swim and I love my bike. All the small habits add up. How many fat old men do you see? Not many And how many skinny? Plenty. I like hair shirt stuff and discipline. I love dramatic hard weather too. Storms, white outs and floods. Makes a man of you

It's a crying shame to see so many obese kids. People literally pay more attention to their dog's diet than they do their kids'. The food industry has brainwashed kids into demanding food in bright packaging and created Frankenstein foods full of fat, sugar and salt. Obesity doesn't just happen, the food industry has created it. And people have just stood back and let them. Governments won't do anything about it because they are in the food companies' back pocket. Imo all the talk about carbs and meat and dairy is misplaced. Just eat what you want as long as its real food bu

I am bewildered by the rules now. I've given up even trying to understand refs' decisions. Your point about centre forwards barely touching the ball is true. The lad Hojlund we had, would go whole games never seeing the ball. And when he did he was so 'cold', his first touch was usually clumsy. I think there was a player in there, but when he was running here and there, never touching the ball for most of the game , no wonder his goal return was embarrassing. Ratcliffe reckons Amorim has got 3 years to prove himself. I've nothing against him, but I don't think he has the m
