I've been pondering this decision too. Are they saying the police could not cope? What's the worst that could happen? A brick through a coach window? Some disturbances at the game? Some anti semitic banners? Big deal! If the decision is to placate the Muslim population of Birmingham then that in itself is totally out of order. Tice has said he wants public spending to be 35% of GDP. That would mean austerity such as we've never seen. 275 billion pounds of cuts. Where would the axe lie? NHS? Education? Welfare? Pensions? Farage has already refused to commit to the triple lock for pensions. Britain is in a sorry state after tory austerity. Roads and town centres in never ending decay.
