"Double tap" is not a flippant or disrespectful term. It describes a particular method of assassination.

The British Heart Foundation has stated that there is no risk of heart attack following a covid vaccination.

Thought On the Buses was funny at the time. But watched it back recently and the put downs and insults she got from her onscreen husband made me feel queezy. I guess humour changes over time.

My mistake. No malice intended. Just read he kept two and decided to part with one as two together is too much work.

Think he sold them all. I'm guessing this pup has been returned for whatever reason. P.S Come back Max.

A friend of mine walked down the aisle to that track in the 60s.??

Yes I've googled the article and Hancock does suggest KC recognition. However, in the documentary, Dave Platts himself does not suggest it. Jackie Sykes ( secretary) and Dave Sleight do not mention it either. They do talk about English Deerhound recognition but not via the KC route. It's all hot air anyway...they are deerhound lurchers.

I don't think Islamist terrorists should be housed together. They just reinforce each others crackpot beliefs and give each other confidence. Put them into the general maximum security prison population. I

Just for the record, he's not trying to get his dogs recognised by the KC. I've watched the film and he doesn't state that. He says he's noticed that the size comes down when he crossed two deer/greys together. Sure enough, the adults he has on the film are smaller and lighter than a first cross. They are definitely different to look at. He doesn't make clear how he brings new blood into his strain. Continually crossing his dogs to each other without knowing in detail how individual dogs performed in the field was a bit of an omission, for me, at any rate. He states that he's u

Mine can put in a couple of turns, but then they are knackered and give up.

A sheep with a limp is like a magnet for a hunting dog. Something way back in their DNA excites them....it's an easy meal. I think a dog which has broken the cardinal rule can be re-trained by the methods already outlined depending on its temperament . But you must keep at it. Every opportunity to reinforce the rule must be taken. You can never assume the dog is 100% reliable any more. I would say the dog is on probation, if it does it again after a summer of re-education and deliberate temptation, that's the time to think about your options.

Thing about Fury though is he has normalised the F and C words in press conferences. That lowering of standards has spread. Brook was on about Khan "wanking" in his pre fight press conference. It's out of order. As for Fury's dad, some of the dirt that comes out of his rent- a -gob mouth is disgusting.
-
Agreed, unfortunately sound bites are part of the sport now. Fury is as thick as arseholes but that doesn't stop his constant attention seeking. Show him a microphone and he'll run towards it. Same as his dad. Same as Billie Joe Surrenders.
-
Fury doesn't help either. He's brought the sport into disrepute with his mouthing. I reckon there is more talking video footage of Fury than there is fighting footage.
-
Give us a summary Kanny. That after fight discussion is longer than the fight. I've got a limited attention span.?

Khan had fast hand speed, but he wasn't planting his feet. Brook walked him down. Brook's punches started at his feet. He was pretty contemptuous of Khan's power. Once he had rehydrated, he was probably over a stone heavier than Khan.It showed.

Remember Pearl Harbour? Too many ships and aircraft in one place. Lots of Ruskies in one place along the Ukraine border. Just saying.

I have never seen or heard of a pure grey lacking prey drive or courage. As soon as you add another breed, that drive and courage is very often diluted You might add coat, feet, stamina or intelligence but you risk losing that greyhound dependability on all quarry. Personally I dont think its fair on a greyhound to treat it as a lurcher and expect it to lamp and be a general knockabout lurcher. Sooner or later it will badly injure itself, even if its brought up from a pup as a general hunting dog. I know there are exceptions, but I've seen greys badly injured racing on sand.... so for most g

Brings out the hidden vegan in me.? I remember my mam and granny chomping away on pigs feet and tripe. I was so disgusted I was nearly sick. They thought it so funny they chased me waving the pigs' feet. ?. Don't think mams and grandma's are supposed to behave like that, but they didn't have 'mumsnet' to tell them in those days.

Cancelled many a day out when the salmon are running or there's a wind on the way... perfect goose weather. Priorities very important.

I'm warming to the idea of Wilfs deaf and dumb ex. I could talk lurchers all night, tell her how brilliant, rock hard and interesting I am and not have to listen to a load of shit in return. What's her braille number Wilf? On a different note, you whippersnappers take the piss out of my generation marrying when we were teenagers with little sexual experience. But we don't have to kiss a dozen cocks by proxy when we kiss our Mrs. Just thought I'd leave you with that thought. ?

You never heard of "treat em mean, keep em keen?" You are a disgrace. The only concession I made to Valentines Day was I did not insist in breakfast in bed. Shape up lad.

See if the chinky restaurant will take it next time it turns up.

Men only bars weren't about exclusion or hostility and definitely not bullying. They were about camaraderie and identity. In the old days men had more respect afforded them. Nowadays, if you've got a cock, you are seen as a potential sex offender who is mysoginistic, and a threat to society. With all this blurring of lines, men don't quite know who they should be. Nothing wrong in a accepting that men and women have different interests and abilities. The likes of Loose Women, soaps, Love Island and Reality TV in general leaves me feeling genuinely confused. WTF are they about? I don't want to
