Men only bars weren't about exclusion or hostility and definitely not bullying. They were about camaraderie and identity. In the old days men had more respect afforded them. Theres something to be said for 'male only' and 'female only' meeting places. Lots of societies seem to favour that arrangement. Personally I miss the 'male only' bars. I like the story about the jock in a bar quietly supping his pint. Some posh Englishmen enter the bar and say "Good evening". The jock snarls: "I came here to drink Jimmy, no tae f****n talk".? I am completely different. I never know where women are coming from( no pun intended). Men are much more straightforward. A nutty woman is scary whereas I know how to deal with men of all types.

"The difference between abusive stuff and domination." That's what troubles me. Fisting and stuff akin to that is very close to sadism imo. I cant see any female enjoying that. Good point about men feeling scared that women can enjoy porn and sex as well as men. But why the underlying hatred of women? Women being roughed up and called bitches, slums thick etc. Maybe it's what you are getting at, that men feeling secretly scared that women can enjoy casual sex and so insult them.

I remember swimming out to an island when I was on holiday in Greece. The water was like glass when I set off. When I turned back it was not just choppy but violent white horses.
