Johnson was deliberately misleading people by suggesting we were held hostage by the EU. And that leaving was somehow a war we had won in which he was our valiant leader. The UK were taken into Europe by a tory government which we had voted for . We agreed by referendum to stay in the EU under a Labour government in the 70s. We agreed to come out of Europe by referendum in 2016 under a tory government.. There was no compulsion to join the EU or to leave it. It annoys me when councils decide what's tasteful or not in cemeteries. Its a matter of personal choice. f**k all to do with petty officials. One man's tackiness is another man's good taste. Nothing to do with councils.

I note that former premiers John Major and Gordon Brown have signed a petition urging Putin to face a Nurembourg style trial for crimes against humanity. Curiously, our own Tony Bliar has not signed. I cannot for the life of me figure out why he would not be in favour of war criminals being tried for their crimes.?

Me too. Ive always admired him. Very effective and no-one suspects he's even a lurcher. I remember the litter being advertised as if it was yesterday.

Joshua has deteriorated. He started out as a half decent, mixer/ puncher and has been 'developed' into a nervous, defensive shadow of his former self. I wouldn't pay anything to watch him. His confidence is shot completely. He needs to find some street fighting balls. At the moment he seems to be modelling himself on Audley Harrison. He has that same terrified look Harrison had as soon as he was tagged.

Out of interest I checked out Wicki's site on the dachshund. Some really damning stuff about their health and temperament. Get a whippet lurcherman. Peaceful, chilled creatures with no significant health problems.

They are dwarves, descended from german hunting dogs. Kept for their novelty value, just like dwarfish court jesters were. Prone to slipped discs because of the abnormal length of the back. Should be banned as a breed for their own welfare, if only because they get exceptionally cold willies in deep snow.

I've watched those videos above. They don't have our belief in a fair course. They have massive numbers of greyhounds matched against a single prey species. Not very British chaps. Not for me at all.

Your position is analogous to those historically, who denied the poor and women the vote, on the basis that they were too stupid to make a reasoned assessment of their own. I remember singing that as a kid in the playground. We used to sing "his other is in the free trade hall". I can still recite "The British Grenadiers", "Men of Harlech" and "The charge of the Light Brigade". All learned at school. We were well fired up as kids to fight another war. Thank f**k my generation hasn't had to.

f****n Ivory Tower? Tower block more like. I remember when I was a kid asking an old man about his war experiences. He told me he was in trench with "skitters flying from his arse". He said it was hard to feel tough when your trousers are round your ankles. I asked him if he had shot any jerries. He said he hoped he hadnt. Sums it up for me. War load of shite.

I went to school with a lot kids whose fathers were Ukranian POWs. I'm still in touch with a some of them and they are all intending to go back and fight. These guys are in their 70s! I've told them straight they would be liabilities. If they are anything like me they will have Godfrey's peeing problem. Not great to be peeing non stop on the battlefield. Personally I dont get all this fatherland stuff. I don't feel any particular national identity. I think it's all a bit anal tbh. Sorry if that offends a lot of you lads but patriotism means very little to me. I'll get my coat.
