  1. You obviously don't get it. People used to get off on watching beheadings or hangings. It was a good day out, watching someone else's demise. Many of the victims were just unlucky, daft, or in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is the same situation at the ford. It's also Royston Vasey syndrome. Let's attack the strangers in town pa, they aren't in the know so let's have fun at their expense. I could dump you in some areas of Salford or Manchester where you would definitely get mugged at certain times if you were on your own no matter how tough you are. How would it be if I sa
  2. Put up anything you like mate. And I'll respond the way I like.?.
  3. Don't expect whippet to run all night like a collie grey. Due to my stupidity I ran my whippet bitch far too long and she just about collapsed before I realised my mistake.
  4. Know those areas well. Avian flu was bad this year. Barnacles mostly but pinks as well.?
  5. Didn't see that. In that case if they chose to ignore the warning.....
  6. Lots of people don't understand the dangers of the natural world. They think they can press the rewind button and start again. Where I fish and shoot, I have warned scores of people of the dangers of walking on the sands. Strangers can find themselves in quicksands or cut off from fast flowing tides. Some can be stroppy, others grateful, but they all get warned. It seems obvious to us that a vehicle cannot negotiate water of that depth at Rufford Ford when the river is in spate, but to others it obviously is not. A warning sign would advise everybody. Then they are taking an informed
  7. Think I know this place. If you make it through the ford you hit Royston Vasey. But beware, its only for LOCAL PEOPLE. https://www.google.com/search?q=royston+vasey&client=safari&rls=en&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&vet=1&fir=xUX0a8Riqrpe9M%2CQB7H6IjILS8jEM%2C_%3BDg3bgJtgn1LQvM%2CxCZ9Jl2J2II9CM%2C_%3B1Y51RK5VQt1NQM%2CS-6cdCVCs51ARM%2C_%3BLXX6aY2z0SuKhM%2CvQ23WE4NNg9zVM%2C_%3BXWzHRr6-4h3HiM%2CkVJIYLJB6SWDVM%2C_%3BIhi2yJRlFg8XuM%2Cpvg3TY8dvGujwM%2C_%3BnE6lCqEOPjGneM%2CyOXnQrzDghUQcM%2C_%3Ba-g3v7jAzSkovM%2C22rLs5NBdIv2EM%2C_%3BJJEkKPmRQl-6dM%2C72dPII6SJucJMM%2C_%3BrKL
  8. You are right Bush Rummager I must learn to enjoy other folks' misfortune. I'd rather help someone out than rejoice at their bad luck. I am a complete and utter weirdo.
  9. What a bunch of inbred, Web fingered c**ts those spectators are, spending their time gloating at folk wrecking their cars. Complete arseholes.
  10. I really regret not keeping records of game and fish I've caught. My mate has meticulous records going back decades. Friend of mine was employed to clear foxes from a wood which bordered a huge house . He caught a fox and showed it to the owner. He kept bringing foxes for inspection for over a fortnight, racking up his fee the longer he kept at the job. The owner didn't know it was the same fox which was refrigerated every night.?
  11. I see you were caught nicking? It appears that you only have half an arm. Or did you get caught quaffing that local vodka?
  12. He wouldn't get vaccinated.
  13. Just read he died of Covid. He was in his seventies. I've lost two good friends in their 70s to Covid. Get f****n vaccinated lads!
  14. He would do anything for love but he wouldn't do THAT! What was " THAT"? Answers on a postcard......?

Back in the olden days, there were no CVs, no interviews, no vetting. You heard about a vacancy, went along and were told to start next day or as soon as. I had 3 jobs in a week once. Didn't like the first one, foreman was an arsehole in the second and the third I stayed two years. Too much malarkey these days. Employers definitely have the upper hand, it's ridiculous imo.
  17. That's true. Well meaning but stupid people take these basically feral dogs and expect to home a domesticated dog. Romania has a huge problem with street dogs biting people with several fatalities. They must be laughing themselves silly when daft brits offer to take them off their hands. Dog from Romanian shelter proved to be 'wild' animal that would bite without warning - Mirror Online WWW.MIRROR.CO.UK New owner furious that rescue group Pawprints2Freedom would not help
  18. That's very true. The next f****r might be worse, better the devil you know. I think if they go into an election with Rishi Sunak,I think they might be in for a surprise. I don't think people are ready for a brown prime minister. Lots of people will assume he's Muslim and that's not going to go down well.
  19. If he survives this he can survive anything. I think he will be forced to resign. He's a dead weight for the tories now. Too many people angry. Too many MPs frightened of losing votes and their seats.
  20. My knowledge of warfare is almost non existent. But I can't help but think that tanks and manpower are more symbolic than actually useful these days. What is mind boggling for me is how you keep over 100000 Russian troops fed, warmed and toileted for weeks on end? Must take some planning.
  21. Listened to a member of the defence committee and he said the ruskies are simply waiting for the ground to freeze so that their tanks can have an unimpeded route into Ukraine. This is going to run and run.
  22. What do you mean by "strategic energy dependence?" Is Germany reliant on Russian gas?
