You obviously don't get it. People used to get off on watching beheadings or hangings. It was a good day out, watching someone else's demise. Lots of people don't understand the dangers of the natural world. They think they can press the rewind button and start again. Where I fish and shoot, I have warned scores of people of the dangers of walking on the sands. Strangers can find themselves in quicksands or cut off from fast flowing tides. I really regret not keeping records of game and fish I've caught. My mate has meticulous records going back decades. Friend of mine was employed to clear foxes from a wood which bordered a huge house . He caught a fox and showed it to the owner. He kept bringing foxes for inspection for over a fortnight, racking up his fee the longer he kept at the job. The owner didn't know it was the same fox which was refrigerated every night.?

Back in the olden days, there were no CVs, no interviews, no vetting. You heard about a vacancy, went along and were told to start next day or as soon as. I had 3 jobs in a week once. Didn't like the first one, foreman was an arsehole in the second and the third I stayed two years. Too much malarkey these days. Employers definitely have the upper hand, it's ridiculous imo.

My knowledge of warfare is almost non existent. But I can't help but think that tanks and manpower are more symbolic than actually useful these days. What is mind boggling for me is how you keep over 100000 Russian troops fed,warmed and toileted for weeks on end? Must take some planning.

Listened to a member of the defence committee and he said the ruskies are simply waiting for the ground to freeze so that their tanks can have an unimpeded route into Ukraine. This is going to run and run.
