Her dad was a doctor and mum a professor mate. A summer job flipping burgers doesn't qualify her as a bona fide member of the working class.

Well said, particularly given your job.Top man. Maybe I'm naive, but we're british. Moral standards apply even during war.

If you've got monks and young boys training to be monks you'll get nonces.

No mate,far from it.

You're a nicer bloke than me Keith.

Charlie boy says lots of noble things CP but his actions don't always synch with his pronouncements. Nobody will be daft enough to say we don't want blacks/ catholics/ Muslims etc but nevertheless those sentiments exist. Membership of my Ex service club is open to any nationality and creed but Germans, despite multiple applications, never to seem to get in. It used to be impossible to gain entry to a free masons lodge in my local town if you were catholic. Catholics are technically allowed entry now, but are made to feel so unwelcome , they don't bother. There may well be a brown o

Sod!! I clicked on to the bait wondering what the feck had happened. I even thought Johnston had inadvertently told the truth which was the catalyst for a cobra meeting.

Fair.

If a brown face is elected it will be a constitutional earthquake. There has never even been a catholic prime minister (apart from recent convert Boris Johnston). So to elect a Hindu or a Muslim will be seismic. The Queen is head of the state religion ( how weird is that, chief of the state religion and chief of the country). The bishops, and archbishops quaff sherry with the queen and her prime ministers. They are all comfortable with each other because they all piss in the same pot and are all protestants. Bring in a muslim or a hindu and you complicate things with centuries of mutual a

Some newly appointed education minister was photographed giving the finger to a crowd who were jeering her. She says " I was only sticking up for myself". Let's hope that means kids in schools will now be able to stick up for themselves and wallop another pupil who is hassling them or have a straightener behind the bike sheds without getting suspended. My grandson has been suspended a few times for sticking up for himself and his mates. Woke shite.

Fair point. I wouldn't like to see poor people priced out either, especially the elderly. But the number of dog attacks is increasing. Bull breeds are the usual suspects according to stats from the states. Having said that you are most likely to get bitten by a lab in this country, simply because there are so many of them.

I used to volunteer in a rescue centre. The number of dogs which were rehomed which were dodgy was incredible. The managment cared more about their targets than public safety. One dog in particular I remember was OK with certain people but scarily fear aggressive with others. It was returned 4 times. Large black alsation. Should have been jagged . They were gambling with possibly a kid's life.

Maybe compulsory insurance according to the power and reputation of the breed? At least then victims of attacks could be compensated.

We did that last time. We got lard arse Johnstone.

Peace preach all the religions. Kill! Scream the various religious fanatics. Better off forgetting about organised religions and honour God in your own way if you are a believer. Still fighting about battles fought centuries ago is sad. -
Yeah, they were harder in temperament too. Now they are eager to please.

Personally I've never seen a decent Spinone or Brittany spaniel. GWPs are OK on the land they were bred for but not great on traditional UK shoots. You can't beat a Springer or a Lab imo. Folk are trying to reinvent the wheel and failing. Don't fix what ain't broke.

Remember a fair amount of Lancashire healers, as you say yappy and good ratters. As for volleying, my nearest neighbour has five chihuahuas. Every month or so they escape and come and harass me whilst I'm in the garden. They act just like a wolf pack. Always nip from the back and whilst you are dealing with one attack, another little fecker attacks on my blindside. My neighbour then arrives all apologetic and promises he'll keep them in in future. I've got this recurring fantasy, I would love to grab them one by one and volley them over my f****n roof. Orrible, bulgy eyed, noisy, hysterical lit

I remember a Jack Russel serving a deerhound lurcher bitch. I was a young lad ferreting and the dog had shown some interest in the bitch all morning. There wasn't much action around the setts and the lurcher bitch lay down. Seconds later they were tied. All was OK until the bitch stood up and the jack found himself suspended by his dick. Fortunately I grabbed the bitch and held her steady and my mate lifted the dog. We had borrowed both dogs and returned them as though nothing had happened.??

Sitting in the dark, with the sounds of a river and the stars above puts me into a kind of chilled trance. Who needs whacky baccy or booze???

I caught a sea trout last year with 27 sea lice on it. It could only have got that level of infestation migrating past a fish farm. That number of sea lice weakens adult fish and kills smolts. Scottish government give licences to fish farms like confetti. Lots of evidence that fish farms are harming wild salmon and sea trout. But the Scottish government is in bed with the fish farms and ignore the problem. The annoying thing is that the technology exists to have fish farms land locked, but the SNP just sit on their hands. It will bite them on the arse one day.

Farmers used to use a chemical called Cymag. Poachers cottoned on to the fact that it could quickly take oxygen out of the water and it used to be a favourite target of farm thieves. Think you can only get it under licence now.

You are a f***ing filthy commie lefty.

Those fish are black. Prime eating fish are bars of silver. The flesh of those fish in the photo will be rubbery. In the 60s and 70s, before salmon farms, you could earn very good money selling fish. Netsmen and anglers made big bucks. What that lad in the photo took was nothing compared to the old days. Something drastic has happened to salmon stocks over the last 20 years. Numbers suddenly fell off a cliff. Personally, I'm happy to put them back now. They are in big trouble as a species.
