  1. My instinct is they will get away with it Charts. They have in the past. Money will smooth them an oily excuse from punishment. I know I'm a cynical old git but I am increasingly pissed off with the beautiful game. We had the farcical World Cup obviously bought by Quatar, and now, 'Sir' Jim Ratcliffe is favourite to buy my club Man U. This is a guy that allegedly funded his favourite skiing club with £ 16 million from his own charity ( which enjoys favourable tax breaks) in order to allow underprivileged kids the chance to learn how to ski. Turns out you need €25000 per year t
  2. Best rabbitter I've seen was fox terrier x whippet. It just seemed to have the knack. It was always in the right place at the right time. It would only run when it knew it had a chance of a kill. It didn't knacker itself on lost causes.
  3. I don't think people learn by being betrayed by friends.
  4. I don't know so much mate. The law is the law. If he'd been found guilty then he's a piece of shit who deserved to dine on porridge for a few years. He has a clean record, there's no evidence against him, so what right have Man U to judge him? You can't condemn people on the basis of withdrawn evidence and new evidence which puts a different complexion on things. No matter whether you play for Man U, Liverpool or Leeds.

    Dobermans ?

Off topic. Anybody remember Doberman in the Phil Silvers show? They don't make comedy like that anymore. Apologies to the majority who haven't a clue what I'm on about.
  6. I hope he catches up with the weasel who slyly took the video and sold it to the media. What a f****n lowlife. With friends like him, who needs enemies.
  7. That's what I feed! Chicken and rice. No VAT cos its working food, two shits a day, shining coats and, when younger would run all day.
  8. Being mixed race didn't help him on here either.
  9. Yes. I sleep well. If you want to adopt the view that you care more for your dogs because you feed them raw,no problem, have as many brownie points as you want mate. Dogs are pretty omnivorous at the end of the day.
  10. Many moons ago, fifty odd years, somebody in Scotland had a scuffle with a gamekeeper in a pub. The gamekeeper accused him of shooting his pheasants at night. The fella who was accused was really mad, because the gamekeeper laid hands on him in a public place and then fecked off whilst he was being stopp3d from defending himself by punters in the pub. Somebody,I have no idea who it was, then dumped dozens of metal wing tabs from shot pheasants' wings right outside the gamekeeper's House. Terrible thing to do.
  11. What's the best make/ brand in your experience bud?
  12. We were debating " hardness" in boxers recently. Seems to me the top Russian and Ukrainian boxers have this in abundance now. Whereas, as somebody put it, many of our boxers are just "gym rats". I guess those ruskies and ukes don't have the same 'cushioning' they our lads are brought up with.
  13. Carl " the cat" Thompson could absorb punishment round after round and then knock out his opponent. He was hammered by David Haye relentlessly and then stopped him. He did the same against Rothman in South Africa. When he fought Johnny Nelson, the ref stopped the fight after Nelson had him on the ropes. It still drives Carl crazy to this day that the ref stopped in so early. Carl didn't get going until he had received a good pummelling. When it came to street hardness and the willingness to hang in there, even when you were semi conscious, CT had it in abundance. He trains a relat
  14. There was " new evidence" which put a different complexion on things. Lots of you lads had him guilty and hanged without knowing anything about the case. Waste of police time. Two spoilt kids being arseholes. Man U are conducting their own investigation. f**k me. He has not been charged with anything, let him play football.
  15. I always feed good quality dry. Tried raw, too much hassle, especially in summer. My dogs have been healthy and long lived. Just put a bitch down at nearly fifteen. If you change from raw to dry or vice versa, without gradual introduction, you are going to get diarrhoea. When I was a kid, dogs were fed on bones and scraps. They are scavengers, they can eat anything. In the days before dry food, Ive known farmers who fed their collies on porridge and whatever else the dogs could scavenge. They would run all day. If you feed raw, there's a much greater chance of salmonella
  16. Wow, I had no idea they could reach that size. People in the Uk get hysterical about the idea of reintroducing the European lynx.Lol.
  17. Here is as good as any mate.
  18. Forgive such a personal question, but was your ring painful as well when you woke up?
  19. See all this choking Mc, is this bedroom foreplay mate? Only asking.
  20. I was fully grown and in my prime when I was about 21 which was 50 odd years ago. I was quite a big bloke then. But now I feel like a midget. Young guys are taller on average( better grub?) And a hell of a lot heavier. Some seem both fat and muscular as though they work out and drink and eat too much. I was walking past a car with 4 lads in it last week when they just opened the window and tipped their fast food wrappers onto the street. My first thought was to say "ffs lads pick up your rubbish. I don't want to live in a pigsty" But I saw their size and ignorant look and thought better
  21. Please don't send me a x. Makes me uncomfortable. I'm old school.???
  22. Back to football. I don't doubt Hackney Marshes has bred many, many brilliant players. But, genuine question. Has a boys club ever produced more pro players than Wallsend Boys Club in the North East? They have a prolific prodution line. I bet every club in the country send scouts there. Off the top of my head.... Shearer, Waddle, Bruce, Beardsley Supermac( Newcastles number 9 for many years). The list goes on. Scotland used to produce top players, but they dried up for some reason. The North East continues to a be a hotbed of talent.
