  1. I wouldn't bank on that. Meeting up in toilets is part of the public school experience. Keep up.
  2. Aye true. And all from the same background and social class. It's,a joke.
  3. It's you that's willfully blind. You laugh off evidence which demonstrates the MP is dodgy ( no wonder the commons was empty, he's a blow bag) and criticism of the medic's research by his peers. The guys ' evidence ' is cherry picked and skewed to favour his pre existing beliefs. Bridgen states the evidence is peer reviewed. He's correct , but the peer review finds major flaws in the study! However there's no point in reasoning with you because your opinion was not formed by reason in the first place, but by suspicion and prejudice.
  4. In my experience, most bitches snarl and snap at pups after 5 weeks. The pups scratch the bitch's teats with paws and milk teeth. The bitch gets mugged by the pups for a few minutes and then she has to leave. The pups are too painful and irritating for her. I don't buy the socialisation thing when they are in a pen looking at walls 24/7. They get far more being brought to their new home where they get fussed and settled in. I think immunity from their mothers milk happens in the first few days when they get colostrum from her. I'm not saying you are wrong, I just have a different opi
  5. In my younger days I would buy pups when I felt like it. I gave up,drinking and smoking and never bothered with other women,my only vice has been dogs. The power balance has changed. I get f***ing grilled every time I leave the house. Where you going? How long will you be? Have you got yours specs? Phone? Change your trousers you look scruffy.zzzzzzz
  6. That's spooky. My Mrs fancies a spaniel too. I'm not sure if a spaniel temperament would suit us though. Yo can't tire them out , they are demanding. Good fun though.
  7. I think the law says a pup must be eight weeks old before sale. I've always preferred to get a pup around 5 to 6 weeks. My reasoning is the pup isn't getting much from a bitch after 5 weeks and they are stuck in a run learning nothing. I get a tin of Lactol a heat lamp and have the pup alternating between house and kennel with a laid back adult dog. I figure that way it's learning more and accepting its new circumstances without any fuss. The longer you leave it before bringing a pup home the greater the chance it will take a longer time to settle. Opinions?
  8. Anybody know what he currently charges for a pup? I've been following pup prices on the internet and they have come down big-time since the pandemic prices. The problem is most of the pups are from pet blood rather than proven working blood.
  9. I like the look of his stamp of dog. I might get one, it will be my last, so I like the idea of a laid back hairy hound to finish up with. If it turns out to be a dud, it doesn't really matter to me at my age. I think he is stretching it about the bloodlines. He might well have top greyhound blood, it's easy to get hold of a failed greyhound bitch with a fantastic bloodline. But its more difficult to get hold of top working deerhound blood and it would cost you. All in all he seems a decent bloke who produces some eye candy dogs with a very sound temperament. Some folk swear by them so
  10. Kills me how judges and politicians can work on until their 70s and 80s and still be earning. That is physically not possible if you have have grafted hard all your life. I have no doubt the painful arthrits I get in my neck was caused by work. You should get your pension earlier if your body is giving out on you. How many roofers, brickies, plasterers are still working on the tools in their sixties? t's not possible.
  11. -How about this tale from my youth which also involves another celebrity. (From now on I am to be referred to as the THL legend and all round hard man.) 1971, I'm back in Manchester, London was too dangerous with all these champion boxers roughing me up. I used to go to Manchester University to listen to bands and meet women. You needed an NUS card to get in but I used to slip the doormen a few bob and would always get in no bother. I could easily pass, for a student because I had ditched my teenage skinhead/ mod look for long hair and Levis. A band called Hawkwind were playing
  12. That would give the game away. I'm serious about not blowing his cover. It wouldn't be right. Somebody might read it somewhere and I wouldn't be comfortable if it got back to his Mrs. It would be grassing.
  13. You are lucky. I'm a stoic and fatalistic but I still think what if I'd done this or that. Self doubt I suppose. One of my brothers served his time as an electrician and did extra qualifications. His employer sent him to uni on full pay and he completed a degree in electrical engineering. He didn't have your integrity ( a family failing) and once he'd qualified he jumped ship and took a job as an engineer in a hospital. His initial job was in a nuclear power statjon and he said he didn't want to be associated with producing tritium for use in nuclear bombs. Money wise it was a disaster
  14. Andrw Bridgen...lies under oath. Check him out. Andrew Bridgen - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG Peer reviewed? Concerns raised about legitimacy of research linking vaccines and heart attacks - Full Fact FULLFACT.ORG It’s been claimed new research shows a link between Covid-19 vaccines and heart attacks. The research has serious flaws.
  15. I'm disappointed, you are on first name terms with lots of champion boxers, I thought you would work out who it was even though it was before your time. If that's all the credit I get, the next time I tell the story I'm going to knock f**k out of him and f**k his bird.
  16. There are Labour shortages but folk are made to jump through hoops and kept waiting for months just so some jumped up bureaucrat can shuffle paper.l Background checks are necessary in the caring professions. But unless you arr a paedo or a mass murderer you should be given work right away.
  17. Do you get health care when you sign up for a job? How about holiday entitlement? Are unions big where you are or in your job? Is it worth belonging to a union? Can you live decently on your pay? When do you get to retire and what are pension rates? It's interesting to compare. We have state pensions which in my case is worth £ 600 a month in my hand. You have to be 67 to draw your pension and have done 30 years work. Most peoples' pay over here has taken a big hit with the financial crisis and inflation and is worth a lot less. Virtually the whole of the p
  18. Very good. Same in the UK. Same all over the world. We are controlled and manipulated by the media, which is owned by a tiny elite. Most newspapers don't make money. But they carry on regardless spreading the word of the owners. People just give up trying to understand the world and concentrate on sport, fashion, Hollywood etc. Social media was supposed to challenge the establishment, instead it just launched a million wacko conspiracy theorists so that now we are more confused than ever.
  19. It's already happened mate. Him and his bromantic brother Kens deputy. Took them both on at the same time. No contest. Both lay in a heap pleading for mercy. I'm f****n rock me son.
  20. I've still, got a tiny bit of testosterone left. Occasionally I daydream about calling out Furys dad over 3 rounds.I would be fecked after that. LOL . Truth is he would banjo me in the first round. I'm 17 years older than him. He is an annoying fecker though, someone needs to slap him lol.
  21. I remember having a sqare go with a bloke who had hammered my mate. We went up an alley and we had a scuffle and I caught him with a real haymaker. He fell over groaning and I thought that was that. I turned on my heel and the lad got up, ran behind me and sucker punched me. We fought on when suddenly he started shouting. Round the corner a group of his mates came and kicked f**k out of me. I remember adopting the foetus position trying to protect my head and balls. I did not look good in the morning. Another time I was walking a girl home and this drunk bloke about 30, came over to s
  22. The boiler I have now was fitted in 2018. My old boiler had a problem which two experienced male plumbers couldn't fathom. I sent for a plumber from British Gas and a young girl about 21 arrived. She diagnosed the problem immediately, it was the heat exchanger. Fitted it the next day. Girl power. The previous two plumbers each sent me a bill which I refused to pay. I argue that if I took my car into a garage and the mechanics couldn't figure out my radiator problem they wouldnt present me with a bill for exploratory work. Anyway in the upshot, they both agreed to forget their bills.
  23. The gas boiler started to sound like a steam engine this morning. I'm pretty sure the plastic pipe connected to the drain from the boiler is the problem. The condensate pipe? Anyway after an hour of pouring hot water on the pipe the boiler is running normally. I've lagged it up on a temporary basis as my DIY shop is sold out of lagging. 1) If I keep the heating on all night will that stop the pipe from freezing again? 2) Can anybody recommend the best lagging to use in the future? I'm with Scottish Gas 'homecare' service and we are 'priority because we are both over 70. They c
