  1. Fcuking hell the numpties will be going over to buy them instead of asking on here and facebook for droppers. There'll be some 10 out of 10 pups advertised soon.
  2. Going back to the first post on this thread to me it reads like he was guarding his bone not lashing out through pain or fear but without being there who's to know, he might not do it again if he got scolded at the time. A mate of mine has a springer which is a lovely family dog and adores his daughter but he challenged her a couple of times over things he didn't want to give up or get off the couch etc and after a good bollocking off her under his supervision the dog learned his place again. My last lurcher "was" an unpredictable flighty bitey b*****d.
  3. I've caught a few different colours over the years but never had a white one. A few years ago now I went to Scotland on a coach and spotted a few with white markings in a field from the motorway, next field there was a few more with more white on and the next field had a couple of pure whites and some pieds on it. That's the only ones I've seen.
  4. Same as everything else probably, keep shtum

    Jobs

Some of them are really good workers and decent lads too, unfortunately we seem to be getting more Lithuanian and Bulgarians through the agency now though and Lithuania must be devoid of bellends now coz they're all here. We had a 62 year old polish bloke who worked his arse off and he could tell where the Lithuanians were from before they'd even spoke by how lazy they are.

We do that to the decent foreigners at work, the rest get a name that suits them like the current batch Death Breath, Barry chuckle and Rooney.
  7. I did a stoppy a Yamaha jog and the lug that holds the caliper in place snapped so the brake locked up, there might still be bits of crash helmet stuck in my parents drive ?
  8. One of them ovcharka things got out near mine before Christmas and went on a biting spree, no need for a bloody dog like that in this country and there's getting more and more of them .
  9. Years ago a lad at work chased a stoat off a rabbit and covered it with summat and told me to pick it up later on for the ferrets and when I got there the poor sod was still alive, paralysed with the back of its neck eaten out.
  10. I watched a stoat drag a young grey squirrel out of its drey high up in a big old beech tree and drag it down to the ground once at work. I've also seen a grey and a red come out of the same drey. When I was a kid I came home from school and the cat was sat looking out the patio doors and there was a massive hare sat eating in the middle of the back lawn happy as a pig in shit. My parents garden was a good distance from the fields and the route the hare took to get out took it over next doors 3ft wall through a gap into the next roads gardens and away up the main road? Feck knows how or w
  11. Anyone from down here visiting you any time soon mate and fancy running a doo or pair back for me? Are you after any canaries? Cheers
  12. Rabbit net I know but with the bigger mesh that would give you a 6ft net wouldn't it?
  13. Freebie steelies from work for me, they do 8 hours a day every day of the week so another few hours on a weekend won't hurt.
  14. Would they work hawkers? I'm pretty sure it was the colour of all mine that let them down, the scrags avoided them.
  15. They were taking up too much of my time tbh mate and I got sick of losing them. I kept thief pouter pigeons too, I might get a pouter again in the future to try and catch a few scrags with.
  16. I did keep them and the only thing I'd recommend is watching them flying and buy out of the ones you've watched. You'll see loads of people trying to shift birketts and masons etc but unless you bought them straight from those men you could be getting allsorts of shit palmed off on you.
  17. I was given a jill that was in kit to him at the time and the kits were really dark, really edgy behaviour too and I'm not sure if it came from him or the jill. The jill I think. She went back home after the kits were weaned.
  18. I got this lad in the summer and he's like a wolverine now with his winter weight.
  19. I get on with my in laws and my missus gets on with my parents too, they've all known eachother since before we were born too so it's a good job we all get on.
