  1. As soon as you've done your cycling proficiency mate, watch the dogs toes with your stabilisers if you still have them on though My lurcher and my terrier will both run along side the bike ok but when a moggy runs across it gets a bit tricky. I don't run them both at the same time because of the height and stride difference but i'm thinking of giving it a go. Anyone trot a terrier and lurcher at the same time and does the terrier struggle from running too fast or the lurcher from going slowly?
  2. Feed meat or try a different complete food.
  3. Why a Beddy though? I can't see the attraction of a bushing dog that the mud, snow brambles and bushes etc stick to like shit to the sheets or velcro?
  4. Try a border or a lucas. The lucas would be the better option if your wanting it to retrieve from what i've seen about them.
  5. Its a 2 year old post perhaps thats why?
  6. How can the Oakes borders still be registered when by the people on here who keep thems admission they had lakie in them? It'll be diluted enough to be non existant now but they still aren't pure registerable borders???
  7. Have they been there for years or just since they knocked the gas tower down in southport?
  8. Personally I wouldn't mind the bird of your avatar sat in my living room, who is she?
  9. Did he say how long he'll be layed up for? When i got the end of my dogs tail off I was gonna get his claws off at the same time but the vet reckoned he'd be off for 6 weeks with it, they aren't too bad but he's smashed them a few times in the past so its one i'd consider in future.
  10. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Dremel-Cordless-Pet-DOG-CAT-NAIL-TRIMMING-TOOL-Trimmer-/370244094547?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Gadgets&hash=item5634448a53 I got one of these when they were a bit cheaper and its good for dogs who don't like the clippers, just let them have a sniff and get used to the noise. You'll probably be able to find a cheaper one somewhere online.
  11. This is mine when he's about right, he's always in good nick but if I get him really lean and muscles on show he runs like a bag of shit so I keep some weight on him.
  12. Would you match your two against a terrier(nearly 2) and a lurcher(22" nearly 3)? If not I can just bring the terrier. Dug, smokered or ferreted? The covers too high on my permission atm though.
  13. I've been out bushing when one of these tagged along and she seemed a pleasant enough bitch but the bloke has a few at the back of his property and there's no way on earth i'd even dream of going through the gate
  14. Fecking ages off here, always the last place in the country to get done
  15. I'd like mine to be about 3 or 4" taller, thats his only fault. The obedience etc is my fault not his
  16. Find a nice solid tree to lean back against while your shitting, its not just shite you can push out while your dumping a chunk if your squatting with no support. As for wiping, if its messy and i've got no paper or spare clothing then scrape off the worst with twigs and polish off with nice wet grass or tough leaves. If your out with someone you don't like then use your finger and go give em a poo tash We use the blue paper hand towels at work that we pinch from the office, its been on the march in london and even been on 15-1 a couple of times
  17. Good on you mate. Shame you didn't have a map of the sand banks, could have took a shortcut
  18. Have they still got their stingers?
  19. Basic, bread(floating or sunk) and sweetcorn. You can always try hot dog sausages and dog biscuits too if they aren't catching.
  20. I cant speak for the others but I know mines worked last season and to look at him now you'd never tell he had. Hopefully we can get a few under his belt this season, thats if he learns some manners and doesn't spend it in the sick bay
  21. My kits at 5 week old are eating carcases and dry food ok and using the water bottles, I wouldn't feed mushed up dog biscuits or ham or milk tbh. Either feed fresh or defrosted carcases or ferret biscuits (soaked if the kits can't crunch it yet) and they should be fine.
  22. Can you get higgins some when he ends up with a patchy shite lawn some nice turfland stuff Yeah
  23. Free turf is The benefits of doing rabbits for a turf company eh
  24. Some ferrets keep going without jacking, had an albino when I was a kid more marked up than most terriers and she never quit.
