    The falcons did ok then. I’ve got an old mk1 Vulcan, .177 admittedly, but if it’s anywhere near as snappy to shoot as my Vulcan, you did well with that group.

    Preferable to the alternative though Nathan. If if it’s a cheap scope you’re after, a fixed mag should stand up to recoil better than a zoom. Less parts to shake loose. Just my opinion, but what do I know? Fcuk all probably,lol...?

    Have you considered skipping the magnum rimfires and getting a .22 hornet instead? If you were to reload for it, could be more versatile for you maybe?
