  1. If you look closely, can you see into the girls locker room through that hole? ?
  2. Good shooting and a nice arrangement with the carts. Very arty?
  3. It’s a one off Nathan, and if it does what you need it was worthwhile ?
  4. Ahh?nearly spoilt my weekend..? good job I’ve got beer?.......

  6. Lost, diamond encrusted gold ring with sapphires and Ruby’s. ? Lost? Found, top off a coke can?
  7. Good shooting. What hushpower were you using if you don’t mind me asking??
  8. My mother in law is Scottish and as a girl, used to collect gulls eggs and take them home to eat. Food of the gods she reckons....
  9. Nice bottle of Henry Weston’s ? and it’s always too nice to work, even if it’s fickin’ raining in my opinion. Being my own boss makes it easier to get a day off?
  10. I always wanted one back in the late seventies and in the early eighties I very nearly bought one from Chris Draper, but Chris actually talked me out of it, saying “well they’re good, but they’re nothing new are they?” I think he was hoping to swing me towards one of those new fangled pre charged thingies that were starting to appear. I wasn’t going for that though, what with a divers bottle being needed as well.? Seemed like too much hassle at the time to me.
  11. Good shooting. A pal has an HW100 with the same stock. It’s great, and he’s not worried about scratching it. Mine on the other hand, has a lovely bit of figured walnut and I’m frightened of marking it. As such, I don’t know which I prefer. It’s a conundrum.
  12. If you haven’t tried hv’s .22’s before, I’d recommend rws and eley as starters to try if you can source them. As always though, your rifle will let you know what it prefers. I’ve used some that have been awfully inaccurate. Some that surprised me were federal classic high velocity hp, they were only about three quid a box so I thought I’ll try a box of them. Well, they were smack on with my Anschutz. Went back for some more, “sorry fella, sold out”........about right.?
  13. When I get my old .177 Vulcan out, it have a few shots and scratch my head. Have a few more shots and shake my head and wonder, how did I ever manage to shoot so much stuff with this snappy little bone shaker...? I’d never part with it because it holds so many memories. I have a bit of a plink with it now and again, then it goes away again for a well earned rest.?
  14. The yellow jackets were fast, I don’t know if they’re available now though. I’ve been told nobody’s importing Remington at the moment, don’t know if it’s true though? I was offered cyclones dirt cheap, like two quid a box a couple of years ago. Haven’t seen any since. Also the c bees, hollow point like the yellow jackets ? with four slits in the truncated ogive to help them expand at low velocity. They ran about 800fps if I remember, about 40ft lb. can’t get now.?
  15. It has more range, I agree, but it’s always noisy, it’s often too powerful, which makes it less versatile in my view. It does have its place though, that’s true. You can’t really vary it’s performance for any given situation like you often can with a .22 rimfire. Hmr is good at what it does, but that’s just what it does, it can’t vary. I’ve had one for years but I find .22 rimfire better suited to more varied situations. Just my opinion, my requirements from a rifle. If I need more, I usually reach for the hornet. Sometimes however, hmr is just the ticket.?
  16. What calibre is the hw110? My friend had a .177 hw110 and had problems with consistency. Sent it back twice, still not right. He exchanged it for an hw100 and had no problems with that.
