  1. That's the way to get permission .
  2. What I'm surprised about is that your mate has a Clumber that goes through any cover. Have you seen it work, is it a proper Clumber and what are the reasons for using it?
  3. Feck that! Some tucker there. Do you fish there?
  4. Whelks, bout as English as it gets. I've never eaten them anywhere else.
  5. What type of Mastiff and where from? If the dogs are registered pedigree's there shouldn't be much problem. Does the breeder not know where to go. I got a Malinois over from Belgium and it cost me £200 with inoculations, passport and everyting. This was 4 years ago.
  6. Well done. May be the picture but it still looks a bit fat . Back to the fat dog. Dogs are remarkable and resilient. As long as they are getting enough nutrients they can live off next to nothing. They are not only hunters, they are natural scavengers and can go days with no food. That dog as a fatty could go for a long time with next to nish. Is it a high drive lively dog, or is it a laid back type that likes a backy on a quad?
  7. How old are you Mr Green? Nearly 50. My job, sport, accidents and fighting have paid my body. Nothing a year of in a warm place wouldn't sort out .
  8. Made the break 16 years ago, land, lakes, animals etc. Open my door and I can see nothing but valleys, trees and sky. Although there is a pillion in the distance, keep meaning to drop it with the chop saw! . Any ways, my back is busted, my shoulders give me gip, I get knee problems from time to time. People are often trying to chore stuff, every thing I do, build or buy are in denominations of £500. I have most things, I want for not a lot, but always seem to be skint. When you've got animals/dogs etc it's 7 days week, 52 weeks a year kinda ting. I long for holidays, fishing trips and not
  9. £45 per season! I'd expect it to last longer than a season. What are you doing with them, dispatching your quarry? My Deben lasted me 3 years and then was sent back to Deben for a over hall, due to a broken dimmer. They said they reconditioned it, but it was a complete new handle, bulb and flex. The only original bit was the head (reflector and lens). That cost me about £40 including return delivery. It's been going over 2 years since, I think was originally £75. And generally my first 4 rabbits are dog food only . About the separate battery business, most have got good l
  10. Tracking dog, is to find shot game "after" it has been shot. Tracking is just another string in ya dogs bow.
  11. I sure to be any use they have to be ground to dust. They are nearly 100%calcium carbonate. It's good for humans too. If your dog eats them whole you'll be picking it up the next day.
  12. All the time and with good results. It's got to the point I just leave the rifle at home . Training dogs is working with dogs and it should be enjoyable. What are you using, that little Spaniel x ?
  13. Wow! that took a bit of a wrong turn .
  14. Looks great Gaz. What would you say 16,17,18"tts and is she the smallest?
  15. Still my Cuntry lads and it will be till the day I die. When the sun is shining I can't think of any where in the world I'd rather be.
  16. I like the idea of this x. What size did they all make and do you think they would of been more bramble friendly using a smaller Bull terrier?
  17. Might be ok, but probably won't.
  18. A bit of talk about being "self sufficient" that's a lot harder than you think. You always need money and if you've got lots of time on your hands you need a fair bit.
  19. Even living the dream cam become boring from time to time. I think it may be time to start dreaming about something else
  20. Out of order, feck sake man! That's proper neglect.
  21. thats the sort of price i was thinking, £50-70 is good money for a lamp if it lasts and is what you want, then its a small price to pay. perhaps a couple of quid more even. it would be interesting to see what price d Lloyd can come up with just to see how much we are getting ripped of by deben and lightforce. If it had all the trimmings, I'd be happy to pay £70 and more for a decent warranty and for it to be serviceable. The dimmer on that Led Lenser is well usable for lamping.
  22. You can get led's with 5 or more shades of white, natural white has a yellow tinge something like a halogen. Led's come in loads of colours, would be the boll@cks if you could change the led's or even have all the colours in the lamp! The price is going up lads All the colours; red, green, orange?
