    Even at 15 month I still fake there rabbit balls out for a bit retrieving I just hide them and through another one for them in the same place to see if they find it I just call it a mini hunt lol

    On my permisons if I'm cought with hares I'm off no ifs or buts , the sad thing is when folk start to take the piss out of other peoples posts I've never once herd him take the piss out of anyone give him a brake ffs

At the end of the day mate your dog seems to be soft mouthed From the excellent photos you put up on here, the rabbits seem to be alive when it returns to you so if it gets a hare just release it Don't pack up the cracking work you do ATB mark

    When on a night? rabbits and by the time we get home couple hours rest I take him where I know he isn't going to get his nose down and off , not every field has the sent of rabbits n foxes where I'm from mate

    Take him where there is no rabbits so he doesn't get himself back in the zone

    He's a house dog so if he's got prickly feet a nice warm bath . He gets a good feed a couple hours rest then back out for a walk at his pace seems to work for him + he loves it looking at his moves and groves when his dreaming

    Hello I'm just wondering how you all during your dogs hunting trip how do you bring it out of the stiffening stage ,I like to take blade out for a mini hunt where he not under any pressure to purfom but work to relax his muscles so he doesn't get any strains

    I wanted a small whippet cross for ferreting so I went for colly gray saluki whippet he's now 14 month and just under 21tts and I think I made the right move on him And my little grafter is a jackrussel bitch Molly (yes she's fat but that's down to getting spaded ) She's a cracking little grafter but at the end of the day they are pets first and foremost the working side is only with me nether will hunt unless I'm there the misses and my two lads (18 14 ) have tried but they are not interested but when we all go for a walk it's nose to ground and hunt regardless

    Just gone 39 years young and love it like the the day I first cought a rabbit sweet old age of 6

    The dog will only be as good as the stuff you jab it with ,if that's the way you roll then roll with it , just hope she doesn't roll over and not get back up for the sake of a couple more rabbits

    Have a really good look for ticks even in his ears feet under his tail just look and then look a gain then again , even the cleanest of pens and ferrets get them even when they haven't been out ' eggs could be in the straw ???

    I don't really know much about them tbo mate I could be wrong but I've also seen it myself that every now and then they just run amock with cattle I must make this clear to bull x lovers I've nothing against them in any way at all , but over the years I've seen one or two turn for no reason what so ever and pull a sheep down and to me that wasn't good but what the worst thing was the dog owner just stood there with grin so that could be his falt and not the dogs
