    I just re read this book ,i've had it since it came out in 2004 .It's a great book it tells the story of Bill Tuer or Billy-lad , a gamekeeper's son who along with his dad Ted Tuer and HRH Edward prince of Wales ,who went on to be king ,with them getting up to such antics as poaching salmon , and the neighbouring estates pheasants ,it then follows Billy -lad from Levens hall, Westmorland onto Rattlinghope ,Shropshire. Where Billy-lad tells us such stories as holding his teacher's cat to ransom to rat catching with his terrier at the local farms , along the way teaching us some old country

    I haven't done the London marathon , but iv'e done the Chester full and half , i also did the Snowdonia marathon last year and iv'e got my name down for this years in October , although at moment still trying to shed my winter coat !. Out of the runs iv'e done, Snowdonia is for me the most stunning and also hardest so far .I didn't hit THE WALL, i hit a f**king big mountain ! ,get your name down for next year you will not regret it .

    Bush Rummager I went to this gig it was f@@king amazing , and so loud my ears were still ringing two days later ,i was about three rows from the front ,dodging bottles of piss and the crowd surfers ,ah them were the days , megadeth and the almighty were both shit hot as well in fact i would say megadeth were better than metallica imo , i also have it on tape somewhere ,a bird i was seeing at the time recorded it all, fair play to her

    I had a swallow following my dogs on our walk one day last week mate ,it was weaving in and out between them just like your footage .I tried to film it but to quick for me ,well done for getting it , great to watch the skill they have , i think their catching flies as dogs and you disturb grass , tidy dogs

    sorry to hear that ,that's the problem today , some people have no respect for their elders ,which is a shame as we could learn a lot ,and i like listening to older peoples experiences and stories , keep getting out there though don't let the b*****ds stop you all the best
