    G. i used to love watching his programs , i took my old man to his yard a few years ago , for a tour it was an interesting a couple of hours , its a shame we never made it when he was still alive as i bet the man had some cracking stories to tell , i think it was his passion for how things worked and how they were made and the way he got it across to the viewer ,which not many can do, that made him special. Although Guy Martin seems to have the same passion .Love that landy picture

    We went yesterday as has already been said not as busy as previous years ,there didn't seem to be as many stalls there .The fishing village seemed a lot smaller but i brought my lad a nice carp rod , although i couldn't get anything knocked off it, as hard as i tried to ,the stall holder said there's no room for movement because of pitch prices , anyway a quick look online and i'd done alright ,what the organisers want to realise is most items can be brought online cheaper ,i'm going for the day out to socialize, have a good day and try and get a bargain or too.But it becomes a dear day out

    Hope you get better mate , and listen to the doc's , and if gets worse or it's not getting better , get back to doc's and ask him to refer you to Gobowen , by Oswestry. In November my mum broke her back in 3 places , and was sent to Gobowen and their excellent there ,all the best

    Simoman & Borderscot , i'd say it's well worth getting hold of a copy if you can, it's a good little book

    Kx 100 , it's a good show ran by working dog people for working dog people , and it's worth going to but that's a long way from Scotland, especially with the price of fuel ,if you can split that it's worth the trip
