  3. I bred a litter last year ,and while not ideal, All was well and no complications, was her 1st litter too .
  4. Terrible shame ,especially hard when they are nearly there to adulthood. Is it a pure saluki you are after?
  5. You will find that they vary in between some slightly more to the lab some to the pointer ,unless you are line /lnbreding to "fix' traits where you double up on the same genes almost deleting some others this is how most pure breeds we're created whether they inbred for looks or performance and started looking similar as a consequence.
  6. Fluff it's a GPS tracking collar, not a shock collar, they won't help in training in anyway,it helps you find them if they stray
  7. Did you have any photos I'd imagine they'd be quite a dog
  8. Like idea of a cattle dog cross, looks fit as a fiddle
  9. Looks like an albino Rasta lol
  10. Great to see a dog that can hunt though and they will catch a lot more stuff than one that don't ,and you if the land you hunt allows all the better
  11. I think it means in theory you could .no one expects that to be the case ,but w 1/2 crosses can produce pups heavier or racier than themselves .but I wouldn't expect there to be any bankable way to know unless the same greyhound or bull was used on both sides so their was more chance of genes to match on both sides. if 1/2 brother and sisters where bred together their common parents genes would possibly be dominant
  12. Haha I was thinking the pups they must have had big long feet and red noses lol
  13. If I hunted the hills in the day I'd like it but not done that type of stuff for ages mainly night time now so ,using their nose ,for me in any case can be a nuisance.
  14. I don't know about dais but his brother that I own ,uses his nose and if there's scent about will run at almost full speed with his nose in the grass ,he air scents a fair bit too . But to be fair it's not something I care much about really .Can be a pain for me tbh.

can't believe this is still going on , It beggars belief . Someone ought to go to their office and report a mistreatment of animals ,record the conversation, tell them what's happened to the dogs ,then give them their own address

  18. Separation anxiety,is usually our own fault . When we have a pup we play with it,the kids play with it ,visitors fuss it . Then we decide we don't want to constantly fuss the cute pup . They have been used to all of he attention they have been getting as being normal .So they whine ,we go and seenwhats the matter and fuss them. They are addicted to our attention ,and it only now comes when they whine. Little bits of time alone ,getting longer over a bit of time hopefully should grow out of it . I've done exactly the same thing with a pup I have here ,he still whines but he rea
  19. Did Bryn pick his runs a bit Ray ? Buck sounds a more full on dog mate. SI he won't have that trouble I bet.
