I've tried quite a few cattys and got on with most, but the one I keep going back to is the scout and single straight cut black (simpleshot) bands and 9.5mm steel. I can hit a suspended bottle top (lemonade) at 15 yrd pretty consistently. It's all about the right band length and a consistant anchor point.
On the flip side of the coin, my smaller Lurcher, being brindle, IS invisible, from early evening onwards. She seems to have perfect camouflage. (Pick of both in my avatar)
I see no dog... was it early evening when you took the pic ?
There is a spray called bee quick which will run the bees out of most places but then you have to deal with them on the outside.. easy enough if you've the time.
Cheers Phil , I thought I'd ask as it's someone else' dog we would be using and the chap wants to keep everything legal cum September .
Smithie thas a f****r .......
Sounds like you enjoyed yourself ry , the more work you give em (dog/ferrets) the better they will get. My 1st dog was a lab, he was used for just about everything , how I wish I'd have stuck him over a greyhound . They would have made excellent mouching partners.
