Eyup guys,
I heard about pcp's being affected by temperature, but does it make a difference to spring rifles..?
The reason I ask is because, if I remember correctly last time I chronoed my HW95K with jsb exact im sure it was doing about 10.8 ft lbs.. this was in pretty cold weather, outdoors withing the last few months..
Just been out with it today and it was reading between 11.53-11.70 ft lbs.. ? weather says its about 14 degrees C . I had been out in the field a good 20 mins before i started shooting so the gun should have been settled to the outside temperature right?
I fir
£60-90 for a harris or £300 for this bad boy.. unfortunately i have more sense than money at the min lol so il go for the cheaper option lol..
so second best?? lol harris will do just fine
what they said..
neither will let you down.
most people think a break barrel is easier and faster to reload, however i find im more efficient with my hw97 than i am with my hw95k.
its all about preference with which feels best for the individual shooter. go for the 97 mate, you wont regret it. weight helps manage recoil and hold sensitivity
great videos Si really enjoyed them
little things like taking your scope caps off making such a massive difference.. would have never thought about that!
learn something new everyday eh
quick question, which is better in the wind, .177 or .22 ??
ive got some bisley magnums lying around but jsb exact usually do the job for me straight away. mind you most of the time im shooting squirrels not rabbits
it is satisfying! i did this other week. hw97kt .177 at 35 yards.. left hole- 4 pellets. then 2 then 2 then 3 in the right hole. good enough for me i was well happy with myself
the TX will definately be just as accurate as a pcp if you learn to shoot it properly.
that should keep you interested, trying to get better all the time, more and more practice trying to better yourself and get the groups tighter and tighter...
thats what keeps me going with my hw springers..
as far as i remember my 97kt synthetic was a pretty beastly recoiling rifle compared to my hw97kt wood i have now which isnt too bad (both .177 cal. doing about 11.1 with jsb exact 8.44gr)
my hw97k .22 i just got back from lending to my mate is much easier to cock and hardly recoils!! after i strippped and re lubed it before lending him it.
hes probabaly put about 100 shots through it since, judging by the pellets i lent him
SKoT
what size is best??, just for prone and maybe resting on walls for a steady shot..
the one i had had extending legs with like notches in it at varying lengths of the legs so it was pretty solid, and good for uneven ground..
also noobie question, but whats a 'tiliting' bipod..??
cheers mole just cant be bothered googling it hahaha
thaanks SKoT
as the title says, i want to buy the best first time, so is it going to be a harris??, had one before oon my s410 and it never let me down...
what are you guys using, and why, and a rough price brand new??
thanks SKoT
