    Hi mate, springers are going to always be noisy anyway with the noise of the spring and piston when you fire them... i dont use a silencer on either of my 2 hw97s and there quiet enough. its not asif they make a massive great bang like a shotgun.. when i tried my hw95k with and without silencer to see if it actually made a difference, it does but only just! its upto you if you want to spend more money and goto more effort tho. personaly i just shoot mine as they are. all the best, SKoT

    heres my hw97k. with jack pyke stealth tape, clings to itself, on the barrel underlever and stock at the back.. and under the net wasnt done but the net seemed to do its job.. it was an absolute blag to load tho i ended up taking the net off and giving it up as a bad job hahaaha.

    Hi Tim, well, i was half way through typing a massive post, on my phone on my break at work, but then it decided to reboot itself so basically with my 95k i have tried 4 pellets. bisley magnum just for chronoing it mainly and a quick group at close range.. h&n ftt which are pretty consistent and give nice groups daystate Li, which have about 30 fps spread in 10 shots, and like yours group 'like a shotgun' ... well not quite but its hard to get a 2p sized 5 shot group at 35 yards... then theres jsb exact 4.52, which quite frankly, it loves only 12 fps spread over 10 shots

    Cheers lads. it wasnt actually a wet night, it had rained a bit through the day and the grass was still a bit wet. it was actually quite a nice night but it was full moon and very light - maybe a warewolf had been eating the rabbits so thats probably why i didnt see many LOL guns fine wiped her down thouroghly it never missed a beat that 95!!     nice one mate. i sold up had an s410k s200 and hw97k sold the lot and threw most of my camo away. 3 years later i basically started again and now i love it more than ever. looking to get a pcp soon aswell well done on the squirrel, youve still got it! SKoT

    looks like i need to invest in some superdomes.. i use jsb exact 8.44 4.52 in both my hw97kt and my hw95k . there a lot more accurate and consistent than FTT and gaystate Li's in my rifles. havent tried any others, just bismags but just for chronoing SKoT

    a silencer might help a little, but mostly its the noise of the spring and piston inside the gun, that you cant really do much about. springers will always be loud lol. especially compared to a pcp! if you must, you can get an adaptor thing to go on the end of your 97 but you have to unscrew it or summat, i was going to get one for mine, but decided its too much cost, and effort for basically nothing lol thats just my oppinion though. also my hw97kt is quite louder than my 95k (with hw silencer) so it might make more of a differnce than I think. still, good luck if you decide

    hey guys just een for a quick mooch on the lamp, nothing about only saw 3 rabbits and there pretty lampshy going to have to invest in some filters. soon as i put lamp on 2 of them they were straight off, no messing! this one didnt run off, got about 22-25 yards and decided to take the shot, was in long grass so it was standing or nothing... phut, thwack then a coulple of kicks and it was done, was going to take the hw97k .22 after having a plink witth it this aft but decided on the hw95k for the lamping tonight, because its perfectly weighted and balanced with the lamp on top and the .177 fl
