mark williams,, with a multishot he might get more because of faster reloading.. as for super h points, every gun ive tried them in was 25-30yards max range (2p sized groups) further than that and they tend to fly off everywhere. perfect for close range rats and pigeons etc but at longer ranges i wouldnt trust them myself. thats just my experience with them though, my mate swears by them! New Scope.
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to BenjaminCadd's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
as stealthy just said. i also prefer the very fine ret on my panoramas plus the IR , although not a massive deal, does help when shooting in low light. the scb ret on my mamba lite is a bit thicker but some people prefer thick lines on their ret. some say the 'christmas tree' type rets are obstructive, but i disagree.. and they have more aimpoints so better for shooting at different ranges and in wind. if you just want to shoot at 1 range buy a scope with a good old 30/30 lol -

some prefer mtc some hawke.. me, im undecided lol both do as goood a job as eachother for a similar price. what i will say tho is the panorama seems to have a very good field of view. i was out shooting abd bumped into a fella with a bsa ultra, i had a few shots and asked him how big the scope was he said 50 mm.. it was near enough fully dark like but i could see a hell of a lot more through my 50mm panorama than his, whatever it was. both scopes were on 10x mag, maybe a bit extreme in the dark but a target about 30 yards away was only just visible through his and i could see it a hell -

i cant group super h point past 30 yards mate. i stick to jsb exact and they stil go with a right crack,. shot a crow in the head at 40 yards with one (.177) you should have heard the noise it made . cracking shooting and lovely gun, what you going to get then.... hw100 ?? SKoT -
there should be a screw next to your trigger blade. loosen it a bit at a time until you get it how you want it. if you cant get it light enough you will need to take your trigger unit out and get it 'tuned' i have 3 weihrauchs and 2 of them are just nice, but one is a bit stiff and the screw wont loosen anymore.. might need to get it looked at, im not stripping a trigger lol not confident, too fiddily haha

cracking guns arent they the 97. im after a 100 aswell just chroned my .22 97k (untuned) with un weighed unwashed unlubed pellets and with daystate Li there was 5 fps spread over 15 shots .doing between 602~11.54 to 607~11.72 after about 4000 pellets this gun is well bedded in and a pleasure to shoot, and the trigger is nice and light and all very smooth. its amazing the pellet drop difference between Li's and BisMag's at 35 yards!!

i agree with the one. good time when theres more about for them to see.. suppose it depends on the individual farmer or golfcourse owner etc.. if you can see 30 pigeons sat on a cattle shed roof when you knock on the farmers door, point them out to him and ask him if hes noticed loads of sh1t everywhere.... good luck pal. Hw97K First Rifle? Qd Studs?
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to James Bawss Balazs's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Rabbits do a lot of damage and cost farmers money as do woodpigeons and all the other 'pests' and 'vermin' we shoot all has a good reason behind it, or we wouldnt be allowed to do it... the hw97 is based off the 77 and both are top quality rifles, that dont appreciate a bipod . google the 'artillery hold' if you want to get decent results mate. all the best. SKoT edit, oh and it wont come with QD studs.. unless you pay extra and have the gunshop fit them for you, or buy them seperate and do it yourself. -
well done mac very good man!

good going mate. only seen 1 squirrel all bloody year!

i think with rabbits being a prey animal they feel safer at night in the dark.. thats why lamping/NV is so effective. on a quiet day they will come out but they are a lot more weary.. all it takes is one fox or cat or dog to come by and they will probably stay in all day from my experience anyway

Now then lads, Just been down to the wooded bit of my permission where i sit to plink and also hunt, to chrono the hw97kt again to see where its at these days.. On the way past the farm buildings i had a look to see if there was any pigeons about, but none today.. walking along just got to the first field and there was a crow about 50 yards, but not feeling confident, and not wanting to upset the cows in the barn right next to me i left it to. 10 yards further down the track after climbing through the gate i saw another in the field about 45 yards .. 5 yards away to the edge of the wal

New Scorpion Help, Fps & Ftlbs.
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to (g80na1886)'s topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
i know its a springer, and there different to pcps, but my 97kt is doing jsb exact .. 11.4-11.5 daystate Li .. 10.4-11.05 h&n FTT 11.1 - 11.8 bisley magnum 10.2 - 10.5 even 1 fps can be upto .04 of a ft lb depending on pellet used. e.g. jsb exact 8.44gr ........ 782 fps = 11.40 ftlb , ....... , 783 fps = 11.44 ftlb consistency is important at keeping your rifle legal... as you can see above mines quite allover the shop with the h&n and Li's so its doing nearly a full 1 ftlb difference shot to shot
