cant be too carefull mate, as davy said, evidently a pest is only a pest sometimes the magpies in my neighbours tree make soo much fackin' noise, its unreal that i cant just -safely and responisbly and cleanly- pop them one in the napper and problem solved, i would be doing the whole street, and the local songbird population a massive favour, but the law would come down on me like a ton of sh1t if someone called the 5-0, because shooting them to shut them up is not a valid term on the general licence. stupid and frustrating i know but thats how it goes i guess.

cheap hawke 4x32 shot millions of rabbits with one of these on a bsa supersport when i was a lad/ about 8 years ago

must admit im more of a thumbhole man myself, but like a heavier rifle. i have small hands, just been handling the 3 rifles.. 95k first nearly threw it through the ceiling when picking it up its so lightweight haha, length of pull to trigger is too long, cheekpiece is too low and its too light. 97k next weight and balance a lot better than 95k, high comb for scope is better and length of pull is a bit shorter aswel, better for my small hands. then picked up the 97kt and you can just instantly tell the difference a thumbhole makes and the adj butt aswell it was eye straight to scope a

a new question Si, if i may.. as you have had standard hw95k in the past.. how different does the feel, balance and handling of the rifle, pointability, stability, weight etc compare, between the standard hw95k hw stock, and the cs700 thumbhole...? not on about recoil or firing cycle or lock time.. just how it feels in the shoulder, and on aim. balance.. if the cs700 comes with walnut, adj buttplate and thumbhole... in left handed, i think it would turn my 95k into a beast, it is already like, but on a new level! that and a stage 1 tune and trigger tune.. then it would

simply amazing. cracking review there lads, proves 3 points aswell, i. breakbarrels are every bit as accurate as underlevers... ii. a springer can be shot as accurately as a pcp, if you do your bit, and iii. the noise from a well tuned springer is roughly the same as a pcp, from a slight distance away you hardly hear it at all. love watching VHTV keep the reviews and vermin shots coming. atvb, SKoT

Sfs Stage 2 Hw97Kt
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to A1WOC's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Great new Steve . Didn't i just say to you a month or so back that the wait for the tune would be well worth it? Well you now see why mate . The review of the SFS VHTV Spectres is uploading to YouTube as i type. Wait till you see that baby mate. The Spectres shooting out to 66 yards in a breeze and hitting targets just under 3/4 the size of a pop bottle top shot after shot. Really really impressive to say the least the work Tony as done on them. HALLELUJA its a miracle god has answered my prayers, finally! lol sorry mate but you know you have taken forever a -
i go lamping on my own i prefer it, less noise and i can take my time. i will still go with other people, but i find its best on my own its worth asking mate. i think they might still say no tho more often than not. can be hard getting permission SKoT

Pellet Change

also even if you dont clean your barrel after 20-50 or so pellets the 'new lead' should be pretty settled in and should show good results from your new pellets -
Pellet Change
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to Blackbriar's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
to be fair mate super h points, in my experience are only good at 20-25 yards.. usually best pellets are jsb exact h&n ftt air arms diabolo field daystate li superdomes accupell and a few others. as a general allrounder jsb or AA field seem a good allrounder and suit most rifles..... -

Dieseling Tx200Hc?
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to A1WOC's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
was there a lot of grease in front of the seal then?? Yes, and I can take the blame. didnt mean it like that mate. when i first stripped degreased and relubed my 97 put it back together, i used plenty of grease . after another 1000 shots i took it apart again, although it never dieselled once there was quite a lot of grease that had slipped infront of the seal, totally my fault, although it caused no damage whatsoever. like they say, less is more eyy -

try sportsmatch mounts.. apparently there better than hawke. (or stop being a perfectionist and just get on with it how they are... LOL ) although i have both brands, one piece, and havent had a problem with either. as for the scope grub screw bit, is it BRAND NEW? if so thats dissapointing quality control. same with the flickering IR aswell. so anyway, are you getting the camo tape out onto it?

Sfs Stage 2 Hw97Kt
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to A1WOC's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
it has all got a bit ridiculous tho!. im not getting involved, although i nearly have a few times, but its nothing to do with me so i remain silent watching from the sidelines. roll on the end of it all -
with a .22 you just need to be better at rangefinding thats all. there exactly the same accuracy as a .177, just a more loopy trajectory. in general .22 springers are smoother to cock and recoil slightly less when fired. than that of a .177 springer and imo .22 is better for hunting as the pellets hit harder and deliver more kinetic energy to the target, leaving less chance of a wounding and more chance of a clean kill. practice makes perfect and as soon as you know your distances and your aimpoints you will be sorted. hope this helps, i dont personally know much about the

just had a quick look. its something ive never thought about, or heard much about, the .20 cal seems theres jsb exact FTT crosman premiers and a few more top quality pellets ive heard of. never had a .20 so its going to be more of an experiment than anything. IF i end up getting one, lol. and love the look of them laminate hw77k's
