This guy i knew had a snake but i asked him why he doesnt feed it wild rabbits and he said because of fleas.. dont know why like..? I know frig all about snakes tho lol -
if Si did a 50m group test for his tuned 97 against Davys out-of-the box 97 as a comparison then i think Si's would get better results..(Si shooting both guns to make it a 'fair test'.. or Davy using the 2 rifles) dont get me wrong there still amazing guns straight out of the box (i have had 2) if hes paid £100+ for tony wall to do some magic on it then it has to make it better than a factory gun.. right?!

aye the woodys on my permission dont let me get within 100yards!! and if they do they always see me before i see them.. going to try the static camping type scenario to see if i cant put a shock to their systems of hide and seek. so, great stuff nice bit of meat for a sunday dinner

massive improvement on accuracy

so for the people that still dont think the difference in pellet brands makes a difference...it does! like a few of my mates they think air arms and jsb and ftt are all the same.. nope -
nice shooting mate, and that rifle looks sweet! i find it funny how we all spend so much money on our air rifles - our 'babys' our 'pride and joy's' - and then put them on the mucky floor to take a pic of our kills

thats plenty mate. it might rise a bit probably by 0.5 ft lbs maximum id say. mines had 3000 through it .177 and is doing a very nice consistent 11.1 . dont need more than that. id even be bold as to say all you need for ranges upto 40-50 yards is 8-9ft lbs. but better to have between 10-11.5 thats ideal in most peoples oppinions -
or you could try Kirklees guns in huddersfield. or aaron wheeler in brighouse. that seems like you got a really good deal tho chris

great result from just going for a coffe and a chat. i could get loads of crow magpie and woodpigeon from my bedroom window but its a built up area so my neighbours ring 5-0 and its game over so i have to resist the urge to grab the gun -

not been funny mate but a sub 12 ft lb rifle will drop a bunny at 60 yards if the shooter put the pellet in the right spot. headshots only IMO but some people would say heart and lungs is ok.. -
im a big fan of the s200 and s410 as i had both a few years ago.. but i want to try a hw100.. as for the stealth i wouldnt bother.. it might seem like a good deal but something better might come up a few days later then you will be gutted for rushing in..

well like i said.. tell him this gun is just as good as a rapid or any other gun.. show him that you can shoot them groups and im sure you would get plenty of bunnys..
-
what rifle have you been using up untill now, that hes not keen on..? and does he not think that the other guys have just been not good shots.. whereas if he has seen a few people who know there stuff and are a good shot with a rapid, he might just think that the rapid is good.. not taking into account the shooters own personal skill.. why dont you set up a target for him and do a grouping test to show him your a good shot with the rifle you already have... or tell him to buy you a rapid

aye cant beat the feeling of a springer. the sense of achievement..the good feeling when your on form and you got it mastered and your getting good groups. also kills feel a lot better with a springer. with a pcp its just point and click but with a springer theres actually skill involved a pcp is just a tool to do a job in my oppinion. whereas your springer is more like a friend hahaha

Daryl, i think me and Tony are trying to sort out a train journey.. we might need someone to come pick us up at the trainstation when we get there like... and it sounds like a laugh to be honest. like if you miss theres going to be a lot of friendly banter with some other lads/lasses im not a very competitve person so i couldnt give 2 S ts if i came last, i would just be in it for the fun.. saying that tho if i did win it might upset a few of the 'favorites'...... -
see everybody recons air arms are like tuned rifles straight out of the box... but it seems weihrauch goto a lot of effort to check everything is a--ok aswell like the bit when hes straightening the barrel by eye. and near the end when hes checking the accuracy and consistency of that hw100 on that computer thingy.. must admit ive had about 5 brand new hws and they have all been spot on

ok guys, after never hearing of hft untill i joined this forum, if im going to be participating in one (if i get to the meet) for the first time i thought id better do a bit of research into the subject so after briefly reading the rules i thought to my self... WHAT?! lol sounds to me like a right pain in the arse!! haha so... you cant ajust your zoom.. ok fair do's .. but your AO.. how you going to bloody see your targets!! fair enough after a bit of practice anybody can hit 15mm target at 45 yards.. but with a blurry sight picture and pallarax error and windage taken into ac

Indoor Spring Piston Rifle Practice With Si Pittaway.
Skot Ruthless Teale replied to zini's topic in Airgun Hunting
I didn't want to risk missing the head and hitting the aluminium thing on the caretakers roof. He was with me and asked me not to damage it. If you notice the pellets comes into camera shot from the left of the picture as the camera was at the front of my car and i was towards the back when taking the shot so the aluminium thing was well within my view and I needed to be precise. A heart and lung shot was much safer Skot, and at the end of the day dead is dead buddy either way from the head or organ shot. Si. didnt think of it like that .. didnt realise it might have damage
