    yeh somebody mentioned you a few weeks ago about when my gun was inconsistent on the chrono.. said you could possibly open it up and have a look,, see if it need polishing or greasing or if it has a 'cut spring' inside.. ive never been inside a gun.. we should go shooting together sometime i could easily get a train to leeds.. i dont drive at the min unfortunately. i really wanted to goto the forum meet but il be away in greece havent met any of the lads on here but seems like theres some top blokes

    if i had a spare 300 quid id have had it. never even fired a tx before but if it rivals/equals the 97/77 or prosport then it must be worth the money. people on here seem to think very highly of them.... somebodys getting a bargain there maybe that will be my next springer.. sometime next year maybe a .22 so il have both 'main' calibres, ive already had 2 97's.....

    after watching that accuracy test of his 97 he did (daryl)... ooof. hope thats the one your getting off him! i wouldnt mind it lol .. or if si was selling his mega tuned 97.. but thats not going to happen now is it hhahahhaa. bet its well s**t being without a gun. if i had a 'spare' id lend you it.. but i only have my hw97, its all i need... none of this 'darkside' pcp jibberjabber......

    nah mate. plus a few years ago i was shooting with my s410k [with silencer (away from the road towards the fence with a massive backstop), and my neighbours rang cops n said i had a shotgun haha proper wan**rs they are, so cant shoot around here... just ordered a new scope and a tin of pellets for satday delivery, didnt know if anybody will be at home thur or fri, and im at work so didnt want to miss the delivery guy lol. guns been upside down on some kitchen roll for about an hour now and no sign of any oil dripping out lol

    will do pal. i have about 100-150 pellets left in my tin just had a look.. but im going to order some bits and bats in a min so il chuck a tin of pellets into my 'basket' lol might go plinking all day sunday get a bit of more practice in and try get a good number of shots fired through her. if it doesnt P**s it down, farmers just filled his shed with hay so cant go sit in there anymore :/

    just pulled about 24 times with dry pad things. first few were really grey but the last one looked brand new lol. and now the gun is stood upside down lol. i havent touched the oil today tho lol, and i wont be spraying it into the barrel again... F**k whatever the instructions say.. next time i will spray a teeny amount onto the first pad only then after that will all be dry. but thats going to be a few months yet after another few thousand more pellets or so. cheers for the advise lads il let you know how i get on with it.. might be thursday night if weathers ok.. got 5a side tomoro

    on the oil spray tin thingy theres a little sticky out bit, (kind of like where you put the straw into the wd40 tins) so i sprayed inside the barrel from where you put your pellet in towards the muzzle and seen it coming out of the muzzle.. i must have used too much. hope thats all it was. il pull it through again with loads of patches and see how it gets on and like i said i was carefull with the kitchen roll blocking it, and i laid it down hanging off my bed at a slight downward angle with the muzzle pointing down so if the oil dribbled it would be going the 'right' way out of the barrel

    so its gone right back into where the spring is then? ooops i tried not to let it get in there by 'blocking' it with a fat lump of kitchen roll if you know what i mean? and on the instructions it said.. 1. spray the barrel with Napier Power Airgun Oil and allow to dwell for 1 minute.. so i did but i didnt put the gun vertical i left it laid on my bed horizontal so the oil didnt dribble down into the internals of the gun, which was also blocked off by the kitchen roll. il try rod it again a few times then pull through about 30 times to make sure its properly dry and oil free lol, and us

    I used a napier power pull through kit with the oil and patches in it. also i used a rod with a brass/bronze brush head thing first. its a hw97 i put a big chunk of kitchen roll in the breach? Before i rodded it from the muzzle towards the action. i dont know the first thing about stripping a gun down. il give it another good pull through, but the patches seemed dry when i did it i used about 20 patches.. 10 pulls through in .177.. I must have put about 50-70 pellets through it but it stil seemed funny

    Ayup people was wondering.. I think i went a bit mad with the oil whilst cleaning my rifles barrel the other day and im not sure if its gotten into the action or not. but the groups were allover the bloody shop at 34 yards and i could smell it after firing. I also chronoed about 40 shots and most wer about 11.1 but 2 shots read 5 ft lbs and one was 12.47ft lbs :/ ooops lol. So was wondering what i need to do to sort it out? Cheers

    What can i say about that !! Brilliant guys!! 75 yard rabbit with a 22 jerry springer! Doesnt get much better than that. i take my hat off to you si! Very impressive indeed And as for davy stalking that rabbit one word to describe that... NINJA Also loved watching them rats take some lead! Was that with your s410 davy?

    thats what id have said aswell, try a few lighter pellets to see if you get a bit more power, possibly a slightly flatter trajectory aswell? accuracy is defo the main thing you should consider tho if it was me i wouldnt try shoot it further than 30-35 yards .. at vermin. better safe than sorry

    i personaly would get a hw100t in .177 with a hawke panorama ev ao ir 4-12x50 and a bipod and sling ... and a bottle to fill it. but thats just what i want lol, second choice probably would be a rapid or a s410.. goodd luck choosing mate, hope you enjoy whatever you pick

    Any good? With 3-9x40 hawke hd ir been offered one for 200 quid is that good? Any oppinions. ? Wouldnt use it for hunting.. got my 97 for that. but wouldnt mind a plinker tho

    I want to camo my hw97kt synthetic underlever for daytime shooting. but its a blag with it being an underlever. after paying for my holiday i might get it hydrographic dipped but it will be expensive.
