    my old aa s410k was louder than any springer without the silencer on it!! sounded like a shotgun/ bullet gun!!! i just think it depends on the actual rabbits that are sat there.. some will run, some squat down.. others couldnt give a crap if there mate has just been sniped 5 yards from where they are sat and just keep munching on the grass waiting for you to reload so they can have their turn

    the hw100 thumbhole stock is ambi and apparently the cocking wouldnt be too awkward for us leftys. im getting one in a few months i had a left handed (stock and bolt) air arms S410 K and that was a really nice rifle. all the best with your choices, hope this helps

    mines going to be .177. and after a LOT of reading up on them a lot of people claim them to be twangy..but as long as its accurate i couldnt care to be honest.. Mr squirrel isnt going to turn around and say "guns a bit twangy, init pal" when hes laid out on the floor with a hole in the brain and blood everywhere!!

    i think my 97 wud suit my 4-12x50 panorama better but got my 3-9x40 ags on there at the min. was thinking when i get my 95 the cheekpiece/comb wont be as high as the 97 so a 40mm would be better. i have a 3-9x40 sport hd and the ags.. so dont know which to put on. lol cud get my overdraft extended and get a 4-12x40 panorama to go with the 50mm one :laugh:

    got mine ordered from kirklees guns in huddersfield. they said it should arrive by thursday but il be at work so wont be going to get it untill saturday.. might get it tuned at a later date.. just hoping its a pretty good one straight out of the box. what scope you got on your milegajo? get a pic up on here aswell - do you think a 50mm would sit too high to be comfortable?

    I dont have the 'tools' to weigh or measure mine.. but i do wash and lube. when i get a hw100 after saving for a few months il properly go over the top finding the best brand.. exact size and exact weight lolwashed and lubed lol.

    Theres a lot more to it.. to some people! Point and shoot is all well and good.. But to get the best out of your kit you need to weigh,sort, wash,measure and lube pellets lol if you can be bothered to do all that you will probably see better results.. but can still get great results just by 'pointing and shooting' each to their own i say!

    A good quality scope on 4x is good for hunting at 40 yards. even a poor quality one is better than iron sights.. Imo i got proper bad eyes tho lol so general hunting i use 6-8x and in barns 3or 4x when im plinking i like 10 -12x just so i can see the pellet holes from far away

    nice going i have a very small wooded bit of permission thats it.. think ive killed most of the squirrels still loads of crows and pigeons tho. no rabbits tho just wish i had a ratting and rabbit permisiion aswell!

    i take my time when skinning and gutting rabbits lol.. my mate will have 4 done by the time ive done 1 haha great write up mate, shame about the injured rabbit but at least you put it out of its misery straight away i was about 10 yards from a few deer the other week, managed to get a bit of video on my phone. there was 2 big ones chasing eachother about jumping the fences.. but the baby was stuck behind the fence lol.. nice to see a bit of nature.. although if id have had a proper gun one of the big ones might have been coming home with me lol

    i have a standard hw97kt and i got my mate to fire it today when i was stood 65 yards away it wasnt too offensive. the pellet hitting the target was a lot louder

    in same sort of wind from same position with same pellets i used to get groups almost half that size so i will be harsh on myself.. i dont think its me.. must be the gun still not right even though ive had it 'serviced'.. more like 'over re-greased' yep it certainly is mawders just got in now from a bit of a plink.. still allover the shop and definately dieseling got 2 squirrels for my T tomoro they were both very close around 15-20yards..aiming at the middle of their heads i hit one perfect right next to the eye, but the other hit low and left of my POA and impacted into its neck/righ

    so with a medium mount and a 40mm scope objective lens, is the cheekpiece high enough for you mawders? also hows the weight (unscoped) of the 95k compare to say.. bsa lightning/supersport webley excocet ... because i think they might be too light for me.. i like a bit of weight to my guns im a member of the noodle club like as you see on the video, but i love the weight of my hw97kst. so now im thinking.. hw95k or HW80K !! with it having legendary status and being a bit heavier maybe that would be better... choices choices........
