  4. I think this is whats wrong with the terrier game lately too many people breeding for looks rather than working ability, ok its nice to have a good looking terrier but its a lot nicer to have a good working terrier. The answer to your question would be the undershot dog for me every time. atb cd

  15. hello r.a.w, it shows the last known location of the collar and then pickes up again when it gets coverage, and with 5 mobile phones reciveing the location of the collar they can move around until 1 gets coverage again. not a 100% but it would give you the general direction in witch the dog went. atb cd
  16. Has anyone used one of these as a tracking device for hounds, my friend got one a few days ago it works of a sim card and you can follow it on google maps. it is waterproof and fits on to a dog collar it can connect up to 5 phones with gps. we have been following him on google maps as he drives around this last couple of days and its spot on. its priced at around £125 plus a sim card its a lot easyer worked than the garmin tracker and 4 other people can track the dog aswell i will keep you updated on how we get on with it. atb cd

  18. great pics of your dogs lads , i have no dogs to start for next season but its hard to beat for a bit of craic, droping a dog in for the first time and waiting to see if he or she will walk or stay for the long hall. at the end of the day its all down to luck no matter how many down the line workers is in the breding.
  19. I was just on the Fell directly behind the Pheasant Inn mate..I go there pretty regular,I can get out and walk for 3 or 4 hours easily and not bump into a single person even though the car parks always seem full? If I do see anyone I just head deeper into the forest lol, what they don't see won't hurt them :-) i know what you mean andy the hills around me are covered with walkers that think that if you have a couple of dogs with you that you are out to kill something, i avoid them like the plauge some of my dogs wouldent be very photogenic if you know what i mean.lol
