I hope everything goes well for you lads, i saw on the news that there was a lot of flooding down that way i hope it wont spoil the hunting too much for everyone, i thought i might have got down this year but not to be, they say work is the curse of the drinking man but it applies to the hunting man aswell. atb cd

hello sambo, i know what you are saying but she is not wrapped up in barbed wire she is making her way through as best she can should it be over under or through, a dog that stands at a fence barking woulden't be much good as a busher. atb cd

Sorry tyler i diden't answer your question went of on another rant lol. we were out with the north lonsdale last year, david the huntsman and his wife coulden't have done enough for us , there ground would be a bit different from the norm but we had a very good day and he has some nice hounds aswell. atb cd

i have tried them all, and i cant fault one of them there are all great huntsmen anyone who can follow the huntsman and watch him hunt his hounds must admire his dedication and knowledge of his hounds, its ok to stand at the side of the road or to follow in a jeep and to criticise but unless you are up close and personal with the pack it is easy to find fault, i have nothing but adromation for these men who dedacate there lives to hunting and there hounds. atb cd

There is no doubt about it the wee man can hunt a pack of hounds , i dont even try to follow him anymore there is nothing he enjoys more than to walk some poor fella into the ground that would try to keep up with him, we had a new guy out a few weeks ago big fella 6 foot real health freak into kick boxing and deep sea diving, the wee man took him straight up the hill and lost him after 10 mins that was his first day and his last day out with the hounds. lol
-
i am only seeing this now, see how the hill in the background to the left is allmost the same as the one at the front.

Here are a few pics from yesterday you can see what i mean by the heather being thick foxes can slip away here without being seen we have had some good chases with the lurchers on this flat ground when they head down hill.

Yes they are, they are going very well this season, i think they had a couple of good hunts on sunday i diden't get out myself on sunday, i was out today serious ground the heather must have ben 2 1/2 foot in places not much fun with short legs the old undercarriage can take a bit of a beating. lol atb cd
