    hi garath i have a coursing dog here he is 29 ins tts i mostly use him for the red fellows beating cover during the day and lamping . before a nights lamping i would take him to a place near me where there is a lot of rabbits for a couple of runs to settle him as he can be a bit too lively when calling a fox . his first time out i walked him up on a rabbit thinking to myself he dosent stand a chance off getting this and my two friends comeing behind one with a collie cross and the other with a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull giggleing and whispering thinking the same as me but not saying it . but no probl

    3/4 grey 1/4 wheaten dog i had in the late 80s early 90s 26 ins great dog on the lamp and not a whimper day or night.

    hi folks i have a few terriers that have entered very early around 8 months or so but i have found these dogs to be a little on the hard side getting marked up and having to be retired young. i find the slow starter to be a steadyer dog with a longer working life .it can be a case like the young bull and the old bullon the hillside the young bull says to the old bull lets run down and serve a couple off these cows and the old bull says lets walk down and servs them all.

    has anyone ever used bimectin 1% w/v solution for injection on there dogs and if so did you find it effective and can it be used as a pour on atb coverdogs.

    hi jigsaw i have had the same problem with a lurcher before i think that its the type off pens you have same as mine the dog has too much room keeps turning round and wagging the tail and the point gets wore off against the blocks. i tied my dog out in the garden in the daytime and put him in a smell run i use for terriers at night 2ft 6 ins x 8 ft wire sides so not as abresave. treated it with powder and savalon cleared up in about 2 weeks hope this helps and good luck

    nice pics gafer your deerhound crosses are looking are good i have been working with lurchers for 35 years never hade a deerhound cross but your are temping me keep them coming like your work.

    search on (boards .ie lets see your kennels ) some good ones and some crap but lots off ideas and they wont break the bank good luck with what ever you decide.

    hi digger just thought i would let you know just incase i know off dogs dying before after being treated with the ivermec pour on. my friend treated his 20 hounds with bimectin about 6 weeks ago and there are great shape. he is a braver man than me.

    hi folks has onyone got or know of anyone working a german wirehaired pointer lurcher. i seen pups for sale in the c.m.w. about a year and a half ago in the north of england . just wondering how they turned out.any pics would be great thanks.

    heres one my son got when he was 12 fella gave it to him it was the runt off the litter.it was a great wee bitch had the heart of a lion,put manys a big dog to shame.sadly we never got a pup off here but i would have another tomorrow great cross.
