My brother got me the Life Collection box set for my birthday a few years back and I must of watched them all 10 times over. Can't beat a bit of Attenborough can't wait for the new series, they've been filming it for 4 years!

Let's See Ur Rough Haired Lurchers !!!
BGD replied to whitefeet4190's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
You aint the first to say that. Is that the Bouvier cross? Did he inherit any of the guarding instincts? He'd certainly look the part coming at you out of the darkness! A real cracker -
I imagine they use any powerful dog they have access to that will fire into a boar, definitely some that just look like catchweight APBT and dogos but some interesting looking crosses too. As more money and interest comes into the sport the breeding will just get more and more specialised though until the point where they have their own hog fighting "type" Won't be long until an Indonesian Hog Fighting Dog will be the next must have accessory for any self respecting scumbag over here!
-
I imagine it's timed trials or possibly some kind of points system based on how the dog works the boar? Be very interesting to get a more in depth look at the way things are done and how they breed the dogs, it looks like they've developed their own crossbred bull type for the hog pits.
-
But Darryl's fat staffy mullered Jason's fat rotti down the park, he's dead game!! Interesting link BH wild animals in a pit doesn't sit quite right with me but I'm not about to condemn another people's sport and hunting culture. They do similar in the US with the hog dog trials but I think that's only baying types? Same as this though with it's roots in training hunting dogs, folk just realised it was fun to watch! Nice looking dogs too, I see EBT in some of them.

Those pesky checks and balances!

Thank you. (Haven't you managed to get yourself banned yet ?) Never even been given any warning points

Name isn't ringing any bells... Welcome back whoever you are

i bred him myself their was 9 in his litter, 5 broken coated and 4 really smooth coated, the smooths turned out like if u can imagine a racey but powerful built staff x. My uncle's dog looked like an ugly broken coated leggy staff but he had a real nice shape to him and had buckets of drive, sure he could have made some handy lurchers but my uncle was never interested in breeding from him.
-
Cracking looking mutt and an interesting cross My uncle had a Kerry blue x staff in the 90s was a great yard dog and loved a bit of bushing and ratting. Would have liked to see the results from putting him over a running dog.

Yep those snowballs were something special real trippy yokes

That was definitely part of the reason things changed during our time, but other factors like music changing, new trendy clubs that brought back dress codes........a lot of those clubs became more about dropping the name than actually having an amazing time! The drugs are still there though mate, but that scene changed forever a along time ago.......like you can't recreate 1967 with just quality acid! Haha..... I was reliably informed a while back that E' had come full circle & were really strong again. Loads of pure MDMA about. I actually bumped into an expat here a little while ag

Aye that's the same one but it does look a bit bigger in the video. Still looks like a very young one though probably less than a year old I'd say, no doubt bought by some twat to show off with and was promptly dumped when the novelty wore off

Applying for a DWA licence (which you need to keep any crocodilian) is quite a process including vet inspection of your property and the animal's enclosure etc and varies a lot from area to area with some councils basically refusing to ever grant them and some making it relatively easy. As for buying them they're not that expensive and easily sourced from reptile shows in Europe or even some shops in the UK, it's the housing that's the big expense even the smallest species still need a fair sized outbuilding or dedicated room as an enclosure. If you wanted to do it under the radar i

You ever tried rollmops wrapped round fresh chillies GL? Brazilian lad I worked with years ago loved them like that, I never tried them but I bet they'd be right up your street

As much as I'd like to disagree with you-you're spot on. Although at this stage, knowing how this happens, can we really be shocked and appalled? It's nothing new. People know that it's going on but seem disinclined to stop it. The thing is when you start talking about all this folk start looking at you like you're a fully paid up member of the David Icke fan club, even with all the evidence that has come out Easier to just ignore it and stay in denial than face up to the reality I suppose.Thats a first class answer!!! ffs. lets all bury our heads in the sand and let all the paedophiles run

we had a real one pulled from a reservoir near me this summer, no if,s no but,s it was an alligator or croc 100 percent but what are we trying to say? All leads need to be followed as far as possible and tomorrow night after an 8hr day of plastering I will be driving 100 miles to meet the man I mentioned earlier who says he was charged by a cat age 9 and is writing a book on it, I probably spend more time than the pessimists following up these things to prove or disprove the claims,This one? http://metro.co.uk/2017/08/09/baby-crocodile-found-dumped-in-uk-reservoir-6841474/Can't see any crocod

Often in cases like this where the perpetrator is somehow related to the victim they don't name them because it could effect the anonymity of the child victim. Could be the case here.

Very true Chris. No doubt in 40 years there'll be another round of scandals and another crop of long dead paedophiles in positions of power will be exposed and everyone will be just as shocked and appalled as they are now

It is! I'm not downplaying it, but I think these people of that era that grew up through certain schools & operated amongst a certain class were desensitised to it.........talk such as that just wasn't that uncommon? Obviously not exclusive to a certain class, but I think you get what I mean.... Yep pal I get you and reckon you're spot on. Those "elite" boarding schools are breeding grounds for all kinds of sexual deviances and emotional problems.

Disgusting isn't it and the way he just casually talks about "scandals involving small boys" alongside debt as if it's the sort of situation anyone could find themselves in...
