Who gives a f**k? Oh I don't know, maybe the folk who would lose their jobs and homes and struggle to put food on the table? I pointed out just a very small number of the possible negative effects on the economy suddenly cutting all ties with no plan could have in my previous post and as for making new trade deals with other countries that takes years and requires trade negotiators we simply don't have enough of because we've relied on the EU to do that for us for so long, we'd need to build that capability from the ground up and in the meantime the economy suffers. I'm not saying we

I assume Hunt Sabs Association?

I'm not saying we shouldn't leave I'm just saying there's no need to pointlessly risk economic suicide to do so....

Your optimism and trust is nice to see but isn't really based in anything but blind faith is it pal. How will suddenly having to implement customs checks (let's ignore the fact we don't have the infrastructure or staff to effectively implement them right now leading to massive delays on imports at all ports) affect JIT manufacturing and other industries? How will the end of financial passporting affect the financial industry (the backbone of our economy, rightly or wrongly)? How will pulling out of the ECAA affect the aviation industry and all the industries that rely on it to do busines

Surely the first step of "making it work" is looking at what just cutting all ties with the EU means? Does cutting all ties mean an end to our participation in Euratom? Europol? The ECAA? What about financial passporting? Will we need to have customs checks on all goods coming in from Europe? What about British citizens living in the EU, how will their rights be affected? All questions that need to be answered and the consequences assesed and dealt with if we're going to make it work. And that's barely scratching the surface! Disentangling ourselves from the EU will be anything but simple

That was your motivation for voting leave I get that fine but what does "fk the eu leftie machine" entail? What are the consequences good and bad? How does it effect the UK's relationship with it's biggest trading partner going forward?
-
So you've no idea then.
-
And what exactly does it entail? Being such a strong proponent of a so called "hard Brexit" you must have a pretty good idea?
-
The so called Norway model is just joining the EEA-EFTA, not a great option IMO but one that is certainly possible for the UK given the political will. This article does a good job of explaining it. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/dec/01/can-the-uk-adopt-the-norway-model-as-its-brexit-solution
-
During the referendum the Norway model was touted as the most practical, sensible option by the big names of the Leave campaign (including Farage) and leaving the Single Market was dismissed as "madness" and scaremongering. With that taken into consideration it's hard to say that voting for leave means folk voted for a complete break from the EU in a "no deal" Brexit TBH. Fact is there were as many different interpretations of what leaving would mean as there were leave voters, you can't project your own idea of what leaving should mean onto everyone who voted leave.

More likely a pissed off landowner/keeper IMO. Sick stuff whoever is behind it. That's if it hasn't been totally made up by someone to spread around Facebook! Wouldn't be the first time something like that has been invented just to cause outrage.
-
I think it's become pretty clear an awful lot of the supposed "passionate Brexiteers" were just using the position to score political points thinking they'd never actually have to deal with leaving the EU (reminds me of the Republicans in the US and repealing Obamacare) and now the opportunity has actually come about they've been caught with their trousers round their ankles with no real plan as to how to move forward.
-
That's how I see it too. Not planning for it because they're still hoping they won't have to actually go through with it.

Hammond confirms Government don't know what they want from Brexit end state and haven't even discussed it. https://order-order.com/2017/12/06/hammond-dont-know-want-brexit-end-state/ Cluster. Fuck.

Boomer Balls if you want a football sized ball and field hockey balls if you want a smaller ball to play fetch with, they last forever with even the most destructive dogs -
My bitch (7 and a half year old APBT) has been plagued with them lately, over the last year she's been on four courses of antibiotics and that always clears them up but they always seem to come back after a few months. Just wondering if anyone has any tips on anything that can be done to help keep them at bay? Cranberry concentrate has been recommended and I'll be giving that a go now but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated

The absolute worst possible deal as far as I see it, having to follow all EU regulations but having absolutely no say over them...
