Because like with Labour very few of those voters are new first time Tory voters, the increase in recent years is thanks to the decline of the minor parties (Lib Dems and UKIP) and their voters returning to their traditional parties.

Who's to say those younger voters will change their political allegiance as they age? The Tory party certainly don't think they will that's why they're shitting themselves over it. I've had some very interesting conversations with folk high up in the party since the election and they're terrified by the idea that their base is dying off and not being replaced at the same rate. It's a real fear for them.

Mickey Flanagan is definitely the funniest big name in comedy at the moment. The only comedian I've paid to go and see in years. Has me doubled up with laughter whenever I watch him.

Also the idea that the improved performance by Labour was entirely down to students is bollocks, they massively outperformed the Tories in every age bracket below 50-59 I know that graph has scared the shit out of a lot of folk at Tory HQ too, their voter base is dying off and they're struggling to replace them hence the laughable attempts to appeal to younger voters with things like their failed Momentum clone "Activate"

So you think all (or at least the vast majority) of the 3 million voters Labour gained under Corbyn were first time Labour voters? I'd love to see some evidence for that.

But more people voted for Labour under Corbyn than voted for Labour in the last three general elections so your statement that there's loads of Labour voters who didn't vote Labour because of Corbyn doesn't really hold water does it? The same applies to the tories each election they get more votes It doesn't mean Labour haven't lost lots of life long voters You have no idea what you're talking about. The Labour vote has steadily declined since 1997 and only went up again under Corbyn... Just admit you were wrong pal I promise it won't hurt. Labour 2010.......8.6 million 2015....

Black Lives Matter started when Obama was in office? In fact I could be wrong but I think Colin Kaepernick started the whole take a knee thing while Obama was in office? It's just blown up now because Trump drew even more attention to it. They probably started as a worthy cause but got hijacked for a higher political agenda blacks are just pawns same as the other minorities all being told there hated and its trumps fault he's defending himself and showing things for what they really are exposing the media and calling people out ......about time someone did .....it's gone quite about Russia

It's just blown up now because Trump drew even more attention to it. kaepernick sat on the bench first during the anthem,he was advised that taking a knee was more respectful.it was an ex army man from his team that said it to him. Fair enough I didn't know that Just goes to show he tried his hardest to be respectful while still making his protest. Fair play to him.

There was also the Charleston church shooting by Dylan Roof which lead to South Carolina removing the Confederate flag from state buildings kicking off loads of protests involving the KKK and brought the conversation to the forefront again. That happened while Obama was in office too. The idea that people have only started talking about race relations and the KKK in America since Trump took office is plainly false.
