  1. rew has done some cracking lamping videos and he uses a camcorder i think. But its a two man operation i would imagine
  2. yes its a habit lol not having the little blighter go out of site in a dip
  3. is it a go pro you use if you do what kind yes its a GoPro HERO3+ silver Have you ever tried with the dog harness you can attach the gopro to? The chest harness that come with actually fits a dog or at least mine and it held it reasonable steady but I would imagine if he was going at it full tilt the footage would not be great. Not tested that though Yes I use gopro studio that you can download. You can do loads with it but I just strip out some of the shite not all as you can see Then you can export the file in different formats youtube compatible for exampl

  5. go pro is handy but they are not that great in poor light plus you cant zoom. But they are bloody convenient
  6. I bought one and took it back. I thought I had lots of places to set it to monitor wild life passing through. But when you factor in it needs a clear line of site with no branches waving about which is not easy at this time of year. But also to be hidden which isnt helped by the silver led panel. So I decided I couldnt justify the dosh
  7. just read about them Saturation divers thats not for the faint hearted. Certainly get you a nice house in the country though
  8. Once mine are finished growing and the tops died down I wont leave them that long as the slugs get mine. But my mate will leave his till end of august as he doesn't have any where decent to store them
  9. no panic to lift the spuds as long as you know the slugs aint hammering them. If blight hits folks seem to cut the tops off and just leave them as normal till your ready
  10. jargonelle pear drops but the proper ones not the cheapy stupid flavours. I love them the wife bought some from a sweet shop in town and they cost like a quid for 6 Need to be me birthday for that
  11. round the block every morning before work so the dog can empty him self for some reason he hates going in the back yard. Then a decent walk when I get home. The dog takes a good 2-3 hours of my day. I often think if I didn't have him I wouldn't know what to with my self be bored to death
  12. don't worry about going to the docs that's what they are there for. Don't let them palm you off either and tell them what you want doing for your piece of mind. Though most are good anyway. No point be a hero and not going to docs then drop dead. Bit pointless that.
  13. Day time rabbits are very hard. Never had a dog before that had much hope of them but my present one has had a few. Because he will flush them out and go at it hell for leather. He has learnt a lot now we were walking a hedge the other night and as he went in to some long grass he emerged and spotted 3 rabbits sat out. They could see him and he could see them but he new he couldn't move. Then he slowly turned and looked at me as if to say can you see them. I gestured him on as he didnt have a choice. But you tell he was thinking are you thick or what that wont work. This stalemate carried on
  14. Well thats a hell of a video. You must be a very calm person and it rubs off on the animals. If I attempted that the mink would been hanging off the babies nose and the dog would have chopped the mink in half lol Great work
  15. Do they cover Scotland aswell? would imagine so give them a bell with any questions https://www.ccc3.co.uk/home
  16. my dog hurt his rear leg at 7 months and even though his fine now at 2 1/2 ish and can belt around no worries with out it showing. Very randomly once in a blue moon he might be laying down then get up and carry it just for a second or two. Also lamping last winter maybe 2 or 3 times in total he would carry it after a run then just walk it off and be fine for the rest of the night with no after affects. So in later life i would expect it to show up more
  17. The wife said no more dogs once this one is gone but I like having a dog around so will work on her when the time comes. I would go for a whippet or a whippet cross of some sort. I had a little beddy whippet once a real little gem. Pleasure to live with in all areas and bagged plenty of rabbits. I would avoid some with bull in as much as I think the world of my dog and wouldn't part with him for the world he is enthusiastic to say the least lol
  18. more to these saluki types than meets the eye there is a lady with one facebook with a saluki cross and pictures of it ferreting and marking and doing a dam good job of it
  19. Country Cover Club does I specifically asked them that question
  20. or he will think your going to lob him out a plane at some point
  21. probably shite him self with that after him lol
  22. I don't like the idea of a tread mill. I bought a bike stand once for sticking the bike on in the winter to ride. The most boring thing ever. Much better out in the dark, rain and wind. Be even more boring for a dog like a hamster on a wheel I would imagine
