With my helper who is terrified of feathers and don't retrieve a real help The more he goes the better he is getting he will share a hide with some dead birds now. I had a cunning plan of gently reeling him in once he picks one up tidy. that will some time away though he treats them like a bloody brown bear at the moment. He final picked one upto day and threw it about ten mile in case it tried to take his head off the silly sod. All good fun and time spent together is all good and if I had to share a hide with any one it would be him I could have got a nice

The Truth About Positive Dog Training

For some reason it wont let me post the photos, so had to use links. Because different body language is shown. for fear They may show avoidance, licking of lips, low body, no eye contact, turning head away. My dog does that a bit well the lip licking and turning away and I all ways wondered why I have never mistreated him at all. He likes to be left alone at times espeacially if tired. I all ways thought he was a big bold chap but it is not the case. I have noticed he doesn't like being approached by strange men if i am not with him. Some fella stroked him up the allotme -

Spot on terry like the cauliflowers I have to go over them with fine tooth comb i get it in the ear if they find a slug What I used to say was "if a slug can live on it it's not going to do me any harm" Still had to cut pieces off them though. TC Thats what I tell my lot but the wife still remembers the cooked caterpillar i gave her with her broccoli once it was a lovely luminous green not that it helped much The picture flatters them jok they are not that white or unblemished in real life lol -
great days loved it. Watching air plane with my grandad in tears of laughter at the cockpit scene roger roger Out ferreting all day and to daft to take bottle of water so drinking out cattle troughs and laid up for a week spewing Council put up a nice new wooden fence by the road and some swine thought it would make a good ferret hutch and swiped the lot the next day That cost me a hour in the police station. A visit by the old bill your van was reported by some woodland today was you badger digging ? No officer after foxes. Ok thats fine we just had to check Happy days you could

I have used a long line on my dog a lot for one reason and another but it is good to get a recall going and you can call once then give a little tug if needed to get the dog moving. Basically every time you call you need the dog to come and not have a choice until it is well sorted. The old chestnut start in low distraction areas and move on. A boring field the dog has been in a million times then a park with dogs belting around etc. Just repeating what I have read else where but its works for me. On the lamp you can expect the dog to get excited and I wouldn't stand there demanding it comes

yea used to walk my pup bloody miles to wear him out but in hind site half an training would had same affect and saved me some shoe leather
-
you are obviously joking lol
-
knacker him mentally

I flicked through it on youtube and landed on the bit where they have some dog in the pit whos cowed before it starts looking over its shoulder at some dog raring to pile into it then to just top its day off they start electrocuting it to get it going. That was enough for me

ours was a right pain as a pup at night and we couldn't just let him howl with neighbours to consider. Plonked him in his crate and stuck that in front of the settee and I kipped on there for a week and slowly moved the crated away. Then started sneaking upto bed once he was out for the count and he soon came good. Can leave him in the day crated now for 4 or 5 hours and he might moan for about 2 minutes and thats it. Just takes time for them to settle and his never allowed to prat about in the house

It is actually against the law to kill a mouse with a dog they are covered in the hunting act http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/1528046/Hunt-man-turns-himself-in-after-dog-kills-mouse.html maybe we should all do that

small clumps of tight cover that you can view all around and if the dog marked I think it would be ok. Ferrets can get a bit of speed up though once they get going so need to be on the ball.

Would you put a 6-8 month old greyhound in the traps ? I know sod all about greyhounds but I imagine it would wreck its self pretty quick if it went for it. But that situation has nothing to do in the slightest with the original post -
Just watched this. Was well worth watching. Thanks for that. I will work my way through the others. Thanks again. good watch that hell of a story.
