  4. Yes the back legs are heading for the slow cooker. Not sure about the frier John lol. I do jacket spuds and all sorts in the slower cooker. Ever attempted a mint aero sponge thing once that turned out well too after I saw it on the net.
  5. Yes high prey drive I reckon and I think you got it right. Mine is the same once in striking distance he will go for it. On the other hand if a rabbit is down below running parallel on a track for example his not stupid enough to throw him self off the edge lol. But he has no problems going arse over tit if needs be to cop hold. Which is what make him successful. So once his leg has reattached we can crack on
  6. Saw the Scott Rea pan frying hare fillets last night so thought I would give it a go. He gave his two minutes either side then rested. I tried that but when I took it out the foil it nearly jumped out the window. So I cooked it a bit more. It still stayed surprisingly tender and the wife is a big fan. All veg from the plot. Spuds, roast parsnip in honey, broadbeans and some dwarf beans. The parsnips were delicious
  7. It was a poxy big lump of a useless springier spaniel that nearly did mine in. Belonged to my uncle never did like that dog and even less after that

  11. Nice day regardless maybe the old mixy has been through
  12. its the so far bit you need to worry about. When I was a kid we had few dogs in together and all was well for years. Then one day it wasn't and they had ganged up on the one dog who was the best one typically. He went in to shock and was in a state but tough little sod pulled through and i learnt me lesson
  13. Tom went in his prime just as it was all coming together. Never put a foot wrong
  14. That pup sounds a diamond and a bright future. You couldn't want for a better start
  15. Brilliant Neil. That wind giving the nets a buffeting too

  18. you can feel the thumb screws constantly being tightened
  19. Well I guess we do have to make an effort to recycle our planets resources or so I read lol. It does make sense I guess but you would imagine there are other things they could do that would have more impact. But I suppose every little helps. But the food bins bug me lol with the little caddy bags and washing your plastics la de dah. If they that bother for the amount we pay them they could sorting it out and create a few jobs doing it
  20. lol yea its not so much the recycling its the fact the council telling me what I can and cant do and charging a fortune in council tax for the privilege
  21. for the benefit of our children and the planet in theory but its a pain in the arse I don't like the fact I have to do it
  22. yea I was aware of the wormer issue and know I know about the anti inflammatory lol. I got home from work and he had been spinning round chasing his tail decorating the front room. The mrs was not happy. Words of divorce and never having another dog were bandied about
  23. As I recall it was guaranteed worker and a good one. So at this time of year worth it i would say. Thats just a few beers
  24. His not a big fan this time of year. Will take him for a short jog in a minute. The short is for my benefit not his lol. Then I might start him on the bike as long as he can stay on. Then just plenty of walking. Then consider letting him off in a couple of weeks if its going well
