  2. them bloody bull dogs you got to watch with them cigars. One ran out and grabbed the lurcher by the face once. It had the upper hand for about two seconds then screamed its head off when the lurcher was locked on and took two of us to get him off it. Night mare all because people don't keep them under control. Now my dogs a right ass when he sees a dog coming his way
  3. They seem to be over popular nowadays. Loads about so the odds of one or playing up are worse I guess. There is a few in the village. Some scruffy fella walks around with 3 on leads and they are perfectly behaved and look in super nick. Credit to him. Then some other guy walks around with one off lead and it really obedient. I do notice though he carries a break stick which all ways makes me wonder lol. If any thing my dog is the biggest arse in the village just like his owner His a right noob. He brings out the worst in other dogs too ones that are perfect with all other dogs spot him and k
  4. How do you clean the floor just move it and hose down ?
  5. You have that sorted they look in great nick. Dam end rot in my toms in the green house. Been watering regular so must not be happy with the soil in the pots. Will try the old epsom salts when i find some
  6. in sunny wales I prefer trays nice and easy to tip out refill done. Plus you can blast with hose now and again

  14. Perfect Samr the dog is doing it's thing naturally and they make great little ferreters assuming you have broken it too ferrets.
  15. My tommy a grand dog who had just gone 2 years and was putting in hard nights on the lamp back then and couldn't fault him. Just lovely dog in general. One night was last though and I had to carry off the field. Can remember the events like yesterday even though it was nearly thirty years ago. I couldn't face another lurcher pup for a long long time after that

  17. As some one who just potters around after few rabbits I don't worry too much. Just work him slowly fit. Handy full of runs on the lamp and build up as weather gets better. His well exercised any way. Plus give him a week or two into the season and he will have come a cropper anyway and be laid up for a month if previous years are any thing to go by
  18. Well it was blood boiling yesterday after work but I needed to walk the dog and fancied a pigeon for the pot. The only field of stubble was right at the bottom of the farm so I had sweaty old hike in with all the gear. My shooting was dire with the pigeons coming in full steam with a strong breeze behind them. You can tell by the dog things were bad. As a rule after every shot his bouncing about wanting to storm out the hide. I would like to say so he can delicately fetch them back nice and tidy but really he just wants to smash them to bits and spread all over the field. But his go
