    Love watching the old dog go. His a lot of fun. We passed a gateway and quite a lot of rabbit sign so I though mmm nice thick hedge running down there is a good chance of a bunny heading across this gape. I had a stop net in me bag but no pegs so I had to improvise The dog was disgusted by me effort and I could see him thinking Phil Lloyd come and get me ffs So off we went down the hedge enjoying the time. Sure enough it kicked off. The rabbit came running up inside the hedge with dog in tow. Then broke out in front of the dog. They started headed towards me well

    toms coming thick and fast and pickled some beets Some are thick skinned and a bit sharp but still bags of flavour unlike them cheap salad ones from tesco. How some one could grow some thing so bland and tasteless I don't know. Awesome sweet corn you had there Jok a stunning crop

    yea they did great last year and was expecting the same. But cooking in there this year even with door open. But they needed some shade i think. Will sort that next year. Not even a glass one just polycarbonate

    My toms have thick skins and I was cursing the variety what ever the hell they are. But google tells me it is the heat and they do that to protect the fruit. So next year now I in the no I put up some shade. All ways a learning day as long as I bloody remember next year lol

    MY daughter has done a stint in mc donalds and they have bouncers there. They are needed too in the early hours when people leave the pubs. Then some topped them selves as well in the toilets. Crazy goings on

    Picked some onions today got them on the old rack to dry trying to grow a pumpkin for the daughter. I plant too late as a rule but got it right this year I hope. Leeks perking up at last. I stuffed up and sowed late this year but they will get there every thing else is in order but the pigeons are hammering any thing not netted. Lost load of swedes and kale lashed it down but the spuds were happy for it

    Hate heights no idea why. Watching some youtube vids brings me out in cold sweat. I was hanging onto a ladder for dear the life the other guy. The guy on the floor tapped me on shoulder and said are you ok ?

    Pursenets purse and longnets are meant to wrap the buggers up. If you used 12z longnet you might as well use chicken wire But yes it is all personal choice
