  1. Perfect base for a soup WILF, he's bang into his soups is socks, has cook offs with the neighbours.... lol
  2. Wouldn't they make a nice pigs arse soup? He's certainly made a pigs arse of the butchery....lol
  3. Lol , I'd of had a crack round the ear and my wages docked for bones that red when I was a yts butcher! Looks like your knife might need a strop ;-)
  4. A poetic internet feud, only on THL.....fkin priceless. Pmsl!!! Congratulations to all, it's a beautifully thing is poetry! ;-))
  5. Get yourself over to bushcraftuk forums. There are some very talented weavers that have posted in the craft section, a search or new post should throw up some info. Failing that good old YouTube should have few tutorials.
  6. Another great result John, her smile says it all mate.
  7. Does it come with Sat nav Jim? Lol ;-)
  8. Surely your not referring to my sweet dullcet tones mr faggot chops? Lol ;-)
  9. They're in the water amongst the weed mate, they're fairly easy to spot in the headlamp. I'd advise ( from my limited experience lol) a still as poss night on a low tide, look in the gullies of down the rock edges, you'll soon spot them if they're in. Then scoop them out. Boil for 2 mins, and eat.. Lovely lol are they only in close when there's a full moon? Think I'm Gona give it a go it was a full moon the night Newkid was on them, as to whether thats a deciding factor i couldnt really say....
  10. it was a nice mass to be fair, yeah, none of us could wrestle those mackerel feathers from your grasp !!!! lol
  11. You'll not go far wrong taking advice from white van man, I was with him and newkid last weekend along with another 2, we all caught bass plus pout, doggies, wrasse, mackerel and pollack, me bro had a cracking bass 3.5 pound using the set up above. Can't wait to get back down, good luck and tight lines! Edited to add, nearly all caught bass, 1 of the five came very close with a mass on the sunday, lol.
  12. There's more than a bit of interest from us 3 kev, one of the best weekends we've had in a long time. Just keep us posted as like most folk, the hardest thing is getting the dates to work for all involved, if you set that, the rest can be worked round, the weather will do what it does regardless, you just gotta be prepared for worst and best case. The fish will or won't be there, that's fishing, but you've proved that your capable of weighing the odds in favour, really impressed by your prep and drive to get on the sport, it played off mate. I like them islands mate, if we had a bit more tim
  13. Hahahahaha.........he can give him a few tips if he likes. He had more than me Cheers, D. To be fair, you got a cracking bit of wall furniture for your troubles! Lol
  14. Great write up Kev. What doesn’t come across in the write up though is the amount of hard work and planning that you and Geth put into making the weekend the success it was. The Kit, bait, locations, knowledge and instruction that was laid on was of a standard that far out weighed our expectations. Kev’s sea fishing experience and local knowledge coupled with Geth’s professional instruction, planning and safety awareness made for a very slick weekend. The Craic was top notch, lots of laughs, no one getting the hump, we really couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. We were talking abo

  16. Some of the best and strongest memories of time with my old man was fishing a little pond for roach and perch about the same age as your lad is... I also clearly remember the farmer that tried to kick us off once being told go forth and multiply, shortly before me dad gave the jacks the "get on" to his nippy collies that were getting lairy... Really important to get them a catch 1st time out I think, looks like you nailed that one me lad!

  19. Fkin disturbing, worrying thing is that I don't for a minute think Rotherham is the only town that suffers from this.... What really stuns me is the scale of it and how much evidence was ignored.
  20. 38, learning all the time but still no fook all in the grand scheme of things....
