  1. Cooper stt, theyre more like mud terrains but are better on the road than most ats.
  2. Its a frustrating situation to be in, especially when you get messed around with false promises and hope. All you can do is keep on trying. Your better off with an 8 week pup though. Who didnt keep to their word?
  3. gutted for you. Happened to me this season, turned up and some lads had dug 3 earths without permission. The really annoying thing was that they had dug them all in parts of the earths that where only a metre deep. when ive only ever dug them at 9ft plus. They couldnt even be arsed to backfill, i had to do this as cattle were in the field and it would be a major upset if one was to fall into a hole left open by the c**ts.
  4. The dog looks well hope he turns out a goodun
  5. Always remember when i was lamping and i heard the police siren noise and someone on a megaphone shout 'we know where you are your surrounded'. before you know it im swimming across a river and trying like f**k to get the lurcher to cross it as it hates water. I was twitching then.
  6. By the way Spider like my bitch carried the cleft palette gene and threw undershot jaws, something any decent terrier breeder would never of done,WMfor some folk, work is priority not looks. Why are you slagging off an old worker of a dog? It wont make your bushers look any better.
  7. A land rover discovery is constant 4wd with all 3 diffs open. When you do something challenging you lock the centre diff giving 50/50 drive to front and rear. Not many cars are true lockable 4wd it would cost an arm and leg to mod your truck to get all 3 diffs locked. But the discovery 2 doesnt have any lockable diffs as it used traction control to keep traction on the ground, thats how most modern cars work now
  8. wrong, disco is always 4 wheel drive aslong as all 4 wheels are on the deck and have traction disco 2s have 4wd even when a wheel or 2 are off the ground due to traction control.
  9. I hear ya FD, BUT in your opinion is there not more than a few lines of good working terriers out there that IF needed the same result could be got by using as an outcross ?OR, are you like some other good breeders out there, who, when they needed an outcross were too proud to ask another terrierman so used a bull type as a shortcut whilst also not having to say they used such and such's dog ? Genuine question , with no harm meant but I know of well known breeders who've done such. Neil - Ive never used a straight staff but have used bull infused stuff from a lad i know well .I take the shor
  10. Ive seen it, theyre a nice strong type that i hope to have in my kennels in the future.
  11. that bitch is spits of my pup in size, coat and its small head, hows it bred?
  12. no matter how many hours of time and effort you cant make a terrier go to ground and stay inches from its quarry for hours, it has to have the minerals for it, i believe thats what breeding is. You cant just get any run of the mill pup and it will work 100%, that statement is bullshit. It will probably rat and bush but youd be lucky if it works.
  13. Ive been told the sharptooth is patented. I dont know what changes youd have to do to get round it.
  14. Id say it is. Youve been lucky, my last 3 pups were from people i didnt know, i later found out the pups parents werent what i was told. I still gave the pups the chance they deserved but they just didnt have it in them. I later got to see the dam to one of the pups work and it had this horrible trait of coming off the quarry but staying under for 3hr plus. My pup would do the exact same thing. I believe its all about breeding, without it your run a high chance of wasting years like i have.
  15. Just had a black bitch pts due to frequent fitting. 13 yo. Had its last dig a few month before it but the fitting was getting longer and longer and it wasnt the same after the first one.
  16. Its a lot of money for a dog bus imo. An older truck with a few miles for 5k will do the same job with same mpg, and youd have a spare 7k+ to bank or buy a smaller runaround car.
  17. Drive shaft, find which one it is, put in diff lock and take the prop off going to it. Not a permanent fix but will do the job.
  18. The collars dont link up. The box just recieves the signal from the box. A bellman collar will work with the box but id say you wont get a mark if you have two collars on at once, they will interfere with eachother. Why do you need two on at once?
  19. Same with people who retire early, then they realise they dont have a hobby because theyve lived to work all their lives. Hate the thought of retiring.
  20. Wouldnt mind knowing which vet you go to. Not met one i can trust.
