  1. Didnt know him personally, but my father knew him well. Was a character by all accounts. Heard he had a hell of a terrier called fettle. Rip
  2. Why do you feel embarrassed? I wouldnt mind a dog like that, nothing wrong with letting anyone know.
  3. Credit to you zilverhaze how olds the dog now?
  4. I think haye had the potential to clean the klitchkos and do well for himself, but he just wasnt hungry enough. I do get that you cant win a fight with a broken toe, but he should have postponed it instead of taking the cheque. If he goes in with the right mindset he will wipe the floor with most of the division. Regarding aj, he is miles away from being ready to fight haye but tyson haye would be a good match up.
  5. The only benefit is see in bull blood is size and substance. I think its a big positive especially when a terrier is under pressure from its quarry. Id have to disagree about the ebt not bringing anything to the table because it must have brought size to the terriers. You dont want a bull, you want a bigger stronger terrier that acts and works like a terrier.
  6. What lines are these dogs from? They look a strong type.
  7. Ive seen it before, the dog did it with green quarry that sat there, any quarry that was a handful pushed past the dog, but the dog didnt like the sharpend and was no use. I think zilverhaze said his dog would do it after bossing its quarry about.
  8. Hope the dog turns out good for you john, a six hour drive is worth it for a well bred pup.
  9. What sort of ebt was used? Miniture or full size? Do many make a decent size as i would imagine most turn out too big.
  10. How was billy bred? looks very similar to a bitch we used to have.
  11. Cheers lads. Might be sorted now due to a kind offer.
  12. Strange about the collar. Hopefully your jagd steps up to the mark
  13. Sorry to hear. Is that dog out of bomber?
  14. They look like dogs fit for the job, atb with them
  15. In some sensitive areas ive took the turf off in 4 neat squares and put them aside. Once i had backfilled i put the turf back over it and you cant even tell ive been there
  16. Ok lads. Ive been on the lookout for a pup for a good few years now and ran into some bad luck with what ive had, mostly due to lies, illness and being given weak runts that never made much. as i have plenty of time and space to bring on one or two does anyone know of anyone with a litter on the ground with a pup spare. It would have to be off strong parents on the bigger side, doing there job. Thanks Rob
  17. Why bridge a stopend ,dont get it .Im trying to explain this to my mate for years fd, he still wont listen ffs lolwhats his reasoning for it? Its dangerous for dogs and quarry and it leaves a mess in the field when it collapses and when you dig down theres a load of sticks in the way. I cant think of a benefit.
  18. if your on a shoot and your the terrierman for that shoot, its your spot and nobody elses until the shoot staff tell you otherwise. it dosent state that he was on a shoot or that he is the terrier man for a shoot???he should be.
  19. What do people think of bridging the tunnel with sticks before backfilling, its a pet hate of mine. as soon as the ground gets saturated it collapses and makes a mess.
  20. Fair play superman. Wish I could do a few 3m digs a day and go back out the next day and do it again. Sound. i suppose its ok if theres a few of you. 3m takes a while on your own, especially in hard clay.
