  1. regards the banking and holding it mid air, your the first person other than me i know who does that. When I do it i get funny looks. Get a mark on the banking and you'll end up tunnelling in.
  2. that's a shit situation! Funny thing, people and money.
  3. Sold a brand new box still sealed and collar about two year ago. If deben or b+f could make an improved waterproof, long range knocker id buy one.
  4. New pieps sport, bca trakker or barryvox pulse? Which is the preferred?
  5. Looking for leaves and all you can find is a holly bush. Pain in the arse. Literally!?
  6. Say your mark is 0.8 slowly move it in a direction until it reads 0.9, move it in the opposite direction so it reads higher again. Do this in all directions and you'll have a perimeter at which inside it is your lowest reading. The centre of that circle should be your mark. Sounds confusing but really straight forward.
  7. Put it in metric, the imperial readings are shite.
  8. firstly, I'm not American. Secondly, I'm sure most shovel manufacturers will have a weight on their spec, weight makes a big difference in heavy ground.?
  9. good tools are a necessity in some parts of the country. Some places you can get away with just a round mouth.

  11. Being honest about what you've got to others and most importantly yourself. The ability to bring out the best in a dog with good upbringing and entering. Respecting the quarry, dogs, landowners and other lads in the game. And patience.
  12. Only 2.4, shallowest ive had it, but the big rock was above the dog sticking out of the wall of the dig. Looked secure enough, my father got under the rock, up the tube and pull the dog out as she had pushed it a bit further back. Pulled the dog out and the moment he stepped out of the dig, I heard this mighty thud and the rock had rolled into the dig where my father was lying just seconds previous. Very lucky and I've never visited it since.

  15. if its a real rangey place, I wouldn't be too upset if an inexperienced dog lost its quarry after contact. It takes some experience for a dog to locate its quarry that's just weaved its way through 30m+ of tunnel, especially if its tight. Experience makes it easier and they'll only gain it from being given the opportunity.
  16. When he said no, did he mark on the lead then say no or did you let him in to let him check?
  17. The way n is wrote in November, the top word could be nathan. Looks like a h though
  18. Jack was also lucky not to have a point taken for hitting after the bell. You can normally tell by whos happiest with a draw to see who probably edged a close fight and Jack looked genuinely gutted whereas Degale almost looked relieved to get the draw......i had Jack nicking it with the last round i dont think Degale boxed with his usual confidence and movement. he often stood square in front of jack which did him no favours. At length jack did nothing, but degale was happy to sit close and take shots to the body. Degale needed a good stiff jab to stop jack walking forward, he just seems to
