    love the deerhound crosses like the type in phils picture. There used to be loads about and some very useful animals on everthing including fox. I admire the pure but they come too big to be practical on there own,but nevertheless valuable for breeding the blood back in to lurchers.

    I think you are dead right but when you are in it for financial gain the F1 hybrid is much easier to produce consistantly..None of the inevitable failures you would have when you breed for work only and have to keep dogs on to test.

    They only used to cross using the same sires and dams until worn out. The sires stayed same for years.Only the greyhound bitches may have changed. Thats farming I think,not to be confused with breeding a line.

    the American pit bull is made up of English/Irish pit dogs. The Mastiff type was used more for baiting and holding than fighting and supposedly terrier was added to bring size down and more suited to dog fighting. Some believe that terrier blood was never added but the Bulldogs were just reduced in size by selection.

    Ive been doing it for 30years. Most that do it for private gardens have very little knowledge of gardening and tbh you dont need a lot because you are a gloryfied cleaner. If you want satisfaction though you should learn has much has you can,and especially plant names,otherwise your just another handyman with van. you will need pa1 and pa6 and waste carry licence..Good look anyway mate.

    You dont have to be a member of countryside alliance to go on there website and find out who your MP is and fill in a few details to send a pre written letter to him/her.
