  1. I have what I think is the Hawke LRF 400 or a similar variant. Its had a rough life and still keeps battling on. Just bought a new battery for it today..£4.50! A little tip for your friend, remove the battery when not in use, it'll last a lot longer Mine will come in real handy now I've got the .17HMR
  2. Mine is the same  They must have made some changes to the forum because its not just in mobile mode either
  3. Awesome precision shooting there Stuart, well done mate
  4. Awesome shooting Si, looking forward to the review. Which do you prefer between that and your SFS 97K?
  5. Took me a bit to get used to this kind of hold over.. or lack of it!
  6. Nice shooting Acuspell, didn't think you'd be able to take Canada's with the air rifle! Is it an FAC rapid by any chance?
  7. The HW60J in .22 is defo my next rifle
  8. Well I've been shooting the Annie and can't get over how flat shooting it is. Tried out both the Hornday 17 grain and CCI 20 grain and found the CCI's to be the best. Whilst testing the 17 grain bullets I put a couple of 20 grain CCI's through and found that when I reverted to the 17 grain Hornday's they were all over the place. A quick pull through and we were back on song. Looks like the Annie needs to stick to one brand of ammo and doesn't like swapping and changing. I found this with the air rifles so it doesn't really suprise me. I'll stick with the CCI's and get some targets set
  9. I'm shooting my Anschutz 1517 HMR for the first time tomorrow. Will let you know how I get on
  10. Nice one Si, my dad has one of these but unfortunately it has a slightly bent barrel. The previous owner pulled the trigger while the barrel was cocked Will make a nice little project one day
  11. Can't go wrong with the HW100, I sold mine for £500. Fantastic rifle, I've had another in a heartbeat
  12. Stu, you're a legend with that HW77! Well done again mate
  13. No bother at all. I paid £500 for it, considering you won't get much change out of £750 for a new one I'm quite happy, especially considering the condition. I sold my HW100KT for £500 so that paid for it. I'd love another HW100 at some point but for the moment I'll remain a 2 gun man I'm looking forward to filming some footage with it
  14. Fair play to you lads. I always want to calibrate my scopes as precise as this but never seem to find the time. Good on Davy for helping you out, he seems a real gent
  15. Looking good Davy Looking forward to seeing them in action
  16. Cheers Si, aye she's a real beaut Going to attach the Seben Scope Mount with Panasonic Lumix and film some 150m crow bashing
  17. Here she is, picked up this afternoon after my FAC arrived this morning Unfortunately it will be next weekend before I get to have a shot but I'll make sure I have my camera with me when I do so that I can upload some video footage
  18. Nice shooting and nice looking Airworlf! How's she shoot, accurate as hell?!
  19. Thanks Elliott. Yes the rifle and scope was a present from me and LJ to Davy for being a great friend to us both over the past 3 years and being there for us first along with my mum and step dad when we fell on hard times when i was going through my divorce. Without even being asked Davy offered help, friendship and sometimes money ( now fully paid back) out of the goodness of his own heart. How many would do that? Probably not many. Davy is a great, true and genuine friend to us both and LJ loves him like a big brother. He also will be my best man at our wedding in May Si.
  20. Must admit lads, I've never heard of the Spectra either but they do look very nice. Look forward to seeing some video footage Oh and Davy, did Si buy you the Spectra? If so you lucky devil
  21. Don't clean it until your accuracy drops off! Although I admit its always tempting to think "I wonder if the accuracy will improve even more if I give it a clean" Sometimes you can make it worse until its leaded up again. Thumbs up for Balistol oil too, I use it regularly
  22. Nice shooting Mike and that cloud formation was nice to see too, something a bit different. How you finding the Daystate in comparison to the other PCP's you've had? Better? ATB
  23. Haha, it was going dark when I filmed it. Think it was around 5pm yesterday
  24. Cheers Adam, that sounds more stable. I'll give it a go!
