  2. Yes good tyres, best remoulds around for the price. I have Dakars at the moment, no complaints so far.
  3. Good luck with the pup. The collie looks fairly racey so fingers crossed the pup does go to cloddy.
  4. No place for that kind of attitude on a hunting forum. No wonder members get twitching posting when idiots post crap like this.
  5. Yep, 7 years old and bitsa bred to a collie grey.
  6. Terrible noise too when they make contact...isn't it!!, my dog was works off slip and go's on command on the night in question he thought he knew better than me and came unstuck with a rock I had briefly in the beam. The following year he struck at a rabbit on a farm track, missed the rabbit and lost 3 lower teeth. Fair play to him he got up and carried on and caught and retrieved the rabbit... I haven't had a dog yet who didn't have a few teeth missing after a few seasons working.
  7. Real ale all the way with me..... Or home brew ale, bitter etc
  8. I have had exactly the same accident with my dog Millet resulted in losing a incisor and chipping both upper and lower canines. what is it with all these rabbity looking rocks..lol

  10. You soon get used to the feel of when you break into a tube with a plain bar without a nut of similar welded to it.
  11. As long as the pulp is not showing I would leave it. I have had both incisors and canines removed from my dogs, the canines are serious stuff to remove as often part of the jaw bone needs to be removed also. But when they have cracked of low down, it needs to be done. My current dog is missing lots of incisors, and has chipped pretty well all four canines. From working generally incisors will become loose and can be extracted easily, but if the dog chips or hits them on something causing a fracture or snap just check its not exposing the pulp or they are too low down to leave them op
  12. I had a front toe removed from a dog due to a bone infection. It was a outside fore foot. Dog ran the same after maybe not so good on the turn but still put plenty In the game bag. The most important advice is to get a specialist greyhound vet to do the surgery. I went to my local vet and they fecked it up and didn't remove enough bone which caused a lot of problems. In the end I got the dog referred to a specialist vet and had it operated on costing all in £1500!!!
  13. To get a deal you must really look at a container load
  14. I was shocked when you told me James especially after Phil and Frank's misfortune, Unbelievable!! these people are total scumbags. I just hope someone can get some information on them, as they need a good working over I will spread the word
  15. The most common are foot injuries, cut pads, split nails and then punctures wounds and skin tears. What I am comfortable to treat myself depends on the injury and everyone's different, its gotta be done on a case by case basis based on the person and the injury. Yeah a grazed stoppers not usually a problem to treat but even with those there are extreme cases when they are torn off or even exposed tendons, etc.
  16. Good session there fellas

  18. The Welsh is more about working dogs than almost any other Game Fair I have been too, hardly any gunmakers row or fancy townie clobber or such like, more about hunting that appeals to the working man.
