  1. theres no need to drive land for rabbits in my opinion. pre ban driving land and spliting deer out of herds and throwing the dogs out is just fooling yourself into thinking you have a better dog than you actually do.
  2. good night there gaz dogs done well. although the wind was blowing nicely it was still fecking warm lastnight and easy to feck the dogs up 14 degrees according to my car.

  8. its something ive never really bothered to take much notice of to be honest. but i can remember one night with my old dog we had a brief change in weather whilst lamping and he done 9 out of 10 in 2 fields. only reason i can remember that is i had just dropped a load of rabbits off at a spot to pick up once i had finished then by the time i hit the road 2 fields later i had another 9 bunnys on my carry strap. i can remember being chuffed with both myself and the dog
  9. she looks a nice sort of bitch from the pics mate. you appear to be putting plenty of time into her aswell, so she should come decent enough for you. just enjoy mate dont set the bar to high in your head.
  10. top stuff trev. that little whippet serves you well day and night.
  11. work work and more work every night until the dog is to tired to run of hunting up then go to a place with a few rabbits and pick a few easy slips for the dog so has its sucsesfull he/she will soon work out its easier to catch the rabbit with light on it.
  12. we are letting every fecker else into the country so i cant see why bigfoot should be any different.
  13. respect to her and her daughters. imo its a brave and unselfish thing for any child to do for a parent.
  14. thanks for the info lads
  15. I'v always trained the complete opposite! lower reps with heavy weight nice and slow for mass then high reps lighter weight still nice and slow for definition. thats baisically my understanding. light waits plenty of reps for defination basically i am just wanting to put my body into shape.
  16. after watching my mum die from cancer of the osophicus this year i fully understand why people take there relatives to die by the means of assisted suicide. well done to her daughters for not being selfish and helping to grant there mothers wish.
  17. i am considering buying myself a multi gym just after xmas and was wondering if any of the lads who lift weights could either recomend a good value for money multi gym or advise me on what the better makes are if any. i aint looking to bulk up my plan is just to do light weights but loads of reps along side a few miles a week running. is it a case of any old cheap gym will do as ive seen them from £180 at argos or will i benefit more from spending decent money on one.
  18. great stuff Trev well done to you and the dog.
  19. i find that i only need to trim my dogs nails on the odd ocassion in the summer. if a dog is getting enough excercise then it should naturally keep there nails some where near right.
  20. 425903_581461101872586_1297874887_n.jpg feck me nothernlite with dogs looking like that i think you best start going out lamping
  21. the truth of the matter is all dogs have faults. abit of whimpering or the odd yap wouldnt bother me in a dog as long has the dog is getting the desired job done. ive been lucky enough to have not owned a yapper. Tomo has pretty much summed it up with post.
