  1. The owner of such a dog will defiantly of earnt bragging rights ?
  2. I’ve seen one or two dogs go off there feet over the years and most of them seemed to have one thing in common they hadn’t been fed for a long time before lamping. I’ve been out with a lad who reckoned he read in a Plummer book not to feed his dog the day it was going running. Not sure how true that was but his dog went off it’s legs fast. I ain’t saying that running a dog on a empty stomach is necessarily wrong but that’s just been my experience.
  3. I’ve never known it happen to a dog. I like to feed mine 4-6 hours before I run them.
  4. Your right about the pub malarkey I remember my dad buying me a 30 rabbit a night dog from a guy in the pub when I was about 15. What a wanker of a dog it was funny enough it got sold back to another guy from another pub?
  5. Your pics have come on along way since the days of your fuzzy photography ?
  6. Just knocked this duck dinner up. Been with the misses a few year now and it’s the 3rd time I’ve ever cooked lol
  7. I think we could all tell a shit dog if we seen one. but with the many differences in land to work dogs and a choice of day or night work or even dogs that do a mixture of the two regular Can anyone enlighten me on what the differences between a dog average at best is as they say and those that are real good dogs. I wouldn’t have thought the two would be a million miles apart work wise. So what is it in a dog that in your mind makes a dog from at average at best to a very good dog.
  8. You having that spit roasted as it’s xmas. The season of good will and sharing?
  9. There’s some good blood running through bucks veins from both sides that’s for sure. I went with bird to pick buck out of the litter at about 5 weeks old And the breeder offered me a pup if I wanted one, If it hadn’t of got young buster I would have had bucks brother for sure.
  10. Out of interest what was not for you about the dog?
  11. ? It’s a natural buzz mate, there only 6 and 4 bit young to be on the whizz yet.
  12. Merry Xmas lads and ladies. It’s 4:30 am and I’ve been up half a hour with my 2 oldest kids they have started to open some presents and they are buzzing.
  13. Traditional Turkey dinner here Xmas day. Got duck for boxing day. Fresh 3.2kg duck, sounds a big bird but there ain't a lot on a duck.
  14. They have to get some sleep first lol. They might have gone to bed but they ain't going to sleep.
  15. I get on well with my in laws they are both nice people in there 80s. Ain’t got either of my parents so I enjoy seeing the in laws, they will be over for a couple of hours to see the kids before going to the sister in laws for there dinner. We all use to have family dinner at the sister in laws, we haven’t bothered the last 2 years as we have our own family day now me the misses and the three little uns.
  16. 2 off my kids have just gone to bed on there own merit. They have eaten there tea gone outside nd sprinkled there special sparkly reindeer food on the lawn so Santa knows where to come, and decided it’s bed time. I can’t wait to see there faces in the morning.
  17. I grew up learning the ropes with a lab cross mate. Had her gifted to us as a young bitch she was a hell of a good all round edible game animal, didn’t realise what we had got until my later years. Damn was a lab and the sire a collie cross of some description. Totally accidental breeding I believe. If the chance of another come up when I am next looking for a pup then I would snap one straight up from my previous experience.
  18. They are members of a terror group called national action what ever that is
  19. I think they were also members of some sort of terrorist group. Before long you will be able to get some c**t locked up for having bad breath if you say it’s offended you lol.
  20. I am looking forward mostly because I’ve got a young family and they are so excited. My oldest is 6 and the other 2 are feeding of her energy so the house is buzzing, we are doing elf on a shelf so every morning there’s a mad rush to be the first kid to find him round the house, once found its advent Callander time. The school have got elf on the shelf also so it keeps the theme alive for them. Looking forward to Xmas dinner and the kids faces when they open the presents. Traditional turkey dinner here for Xmas day and roast duck dinner for Boxing Day.
  21. It’s a shame mollie wasn’t a few year younger you would probably keep the coat you like through her and it would have given you a broader choice of studs. Silly bollocks is always here if you wanted and it would only cost you your fuel money. Good luck with finding a stud that suits your needs?
  22. Come on walshie being a mod you should have all those sort of answers ??

    Depression

Depression is a c**t. It’s one of those things that can come on in a drop of a hat, sometimes you can sense it coming on and are able to snap out of it, other times it grabs hold of you and your powerless against it.
